This beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bath home is located at Nihi Kai Villas, one of the nicest resorts on Kauai's south shore. Beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, and offering one of the loveliest garden views at Nihi Kai, our condo makes the perfect place for your island getaway.

The cathedral ceiling makes for an unparalleled sense of spaciousness. Rooms and furnishings are regularly refreshed/updated. Our gourmet kitchen offers cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and newer appliances. The drawers are filled with utensils that any cook, novice to expert, will appreciate. AND there's a blender for tropical drinks. We have A/C (installed 3/2022) and ceiling fans throughout.

All towels and linens provided - including beach towels. Plus, we have an in-unit washer and dryer. Pack light, and save room in your luggage for all those chocolate covered macadamia nuts that your friends are expecting you to bring back!

For your outdoor enjoyment, we have noodles for the pool, beach chairs, beach mats, a beach umbrella, and several sizes of ice chests.

For your indoor entertainment, we have a 55 inch HDTV in the living room (with DVR) and an HDTV in each bedroom, and a lending library on-site.

From our condo you are:

· 2 œ minutes (walking) from the pool

· 7 minutes (walking) from Brennecke Beach – great for boogie boarding, body surfing, and sunbathing.

· 11 minutes (walking) from Poipu Beach State Park – great for snorkeling, swimming (especially for the kids), picnics, and sunbathing.

· 1 mile from Poipu Village Shopping Center – Starbucks!!! Several restaurants & eateries including Keoki's (one of our favorites), Papalani Gelato, Whalers General Store, and lots of boutique shopping.

· 2 miles from Kukui'ula Village Shopping Center – Home to Roy's 1849 Eating House, Lappert's Ice Cream, Merriman's, Living Foods Market, boutique shopping and art galleries.

Loved the condo, especially the main lanai. Great place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We cooked only a couple of basic meals but the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We loved the walking distance to Brennecke and Poipu beaches and loved being able to utilize the provided beach towels, coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas, and the regular umbrellas for rain showers and the in unit laundry. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 had a great stay in Nihi Kai. It is a perfect arrangement for a family with a couple kids, and Jeffrey is an attentive host. The place is clean and spacious, walkable to the beach, with a nice community pool for sunset. Only good things to say. Hope to come back one day.

Check-in was simple. We got there after dark but followed the map Jeffrey sent us and no problems. Kitchen was great! The little extras like the boogie boards, beach umbrella(saved my fair skin!), and beach towels provided us with a really great start to our vacation. I would definitely recommend!

Great stay for families - comfortable, convenient, and well cared for.

Jeff was a fantastic host - responsive and quick to provide anything we needed. The unit was clean, cool (thanks to mini split A/Cs and fans In each room), and well-stocked. The kitchen had every small appliance we needed (minus an air fryer), and the main appliances were newer and spotless. You may want to bring some basic condiments and spices, though. There were no sand toys, so we bought a set and left them behind for future families!The in-unit washer/dryer made post-beach cleanup easy. We even went home with clean laundry to just put away!The layout is spacious, with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. It’s listed for four, but you could fit one or two more IF the upstairs couch were a sofa bed. We occasionally heard neighbors on the stairs, but it wasn’t disruptive.A big plus: no bugs (roaches) inside, which is rare for Hawaii. I’ve stayed in luxury resorts and still seen one or two. This place was spotless.The location is perfect - just a 5–8 min walk to Brennecke’s and Poipu Beach. Puka Dog and Brennecke’s Restaurant are nearby and super convenient with kids.The grounds are quiet and well-maintained, with a beautiful ocean-view pool, BBQs, and tennis courts (rackets/balls included). We parked in the second lot, which is close to the unit.Don’t hesitate to book - the pictures don’t do this place justice.

Great Family Stay

This property is so thoughtfully furnished - it made our family (2 kids, 2 adults) stay super easy. We had all the equipment we could possibly need! Whether it is making meals in the kitchen, the ability to do laundry, or even any beach equipment (there are boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas, different sized coolers, and even lots of pool towels!). The location could not be better - it is an easy walk to the beach and to where all the turtles come up during the evenings! The owner is a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything as well. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

Pretty Fantastic

The condo is very clean, nice and spacious and the amenities are plentiful; we especially liked the well equipped kitchen. AC works well throughout the unit. Nice supply of equipment to use for beach outings, and easy walk to local beaches. The grounds are well kept and the pool area is a special retreat with ocean view. The owner is an A host. A great find that we will try to book when we return to Kauai.

We had a lovely vacation and everything we needed was in the unit. You can’t beat seeing rainbows off the lanai! The location was safe, parking close, and beaches within walking distance. Wonderful host and wonderful home.

First time in Kauai for our family of 4 - parents two teen boys and this place was so perfect for us. The host was super easy to reach and chat with via text, and often checked in to make sure we had what we needed. They provide all the things - soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper - so all you moms and dads out there can take that stuff off your shopping list. We spent every morning and evening on the balcony staring at the palm trees. It's about a 3-5 minute walk to Brenneke Beach and 5-7 minute walk to Poipu Beach (depending on how fast you walk). It's very close to those two beaches. Our kids utilized the property swimming pool as well. They also have the beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling stuff and coolers - all on the front porch area to use. It was just really nice to not worry about those things. I would highly recommend this place!

Perfect for My Family

This property was amazing.Jeffery was a very helpful and attentive host.He responded quickly with any questions we had.The check in process and directions were very clear, It was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were very well stocked and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and it was all in great condition. Not old junky used pots and pans that are all damaged and hard to cook on.The extra supplies for the kitchen, bathroom and laundry were very helpful and saved us from having to buy a lot of extras. The Villa was very close to the beach, we were able to walk there in less than 5 minutes, and if you just want to watch the sunset the Ocean was right at the end of the road, less than 5 minutes. Brenneckes beach was the perfect place to practice a little boogie boarding.There was a nice rental place just a block from the beach called Nukumoi Surf Co. where you could rent boogie boards for 20 each for 24 hours.My kids and husband had a blast!That is about the only thing you will need to rent,Jeffery had everything else we needed.There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, all sizes of coolers, snorkeling equipment and beach towels.All of the equipment was in like new condition.If you like to see Sea Turtles and Monk Seals, Poipu beach is about a 7 minute walk and they are on the beach all day.Go around sunset and watch them come up on the beach for the night.The pool was also very clean and relaxing, it overlooks the Ocean!

Great location to explore island & to see turtles!

Jeffrey’s condo had everything we could ask for and more. It was in a perfect location to explore the island and to walk to 2 perfect beaches, see the sunset at night and get the bonus of seeing 20 sea turtles on Poipu Beach each evening! We will definitely stay here again when we return to the spectacular Garden Isle.

Staycation

My son had a little league baseball tournament on Kauai and along with our team, we had a short staycation of 4 nights at Nihi Kai. Everything was as explained on the VRBO site. The short walk to Poipu Beach and the pool and bbq areas were a hit with the baseball team. Jeffrey is an outstanding host and easy to get hold of. He made our trip a memorable one and we will definitely return if we have another tournament on Kauai.

Amazing vacation spot

We loved this condo, its location, and the pool. The kitchen was updated and well appointed. I’ve never had such sharp knives in a rental! Having the washer and dryer was awesome and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We stayed for 13 nights, and my only complaint would be the mattress was too squishy, but that is such a personal thing. Walkable to Poipu and Puka Dog.

A Very Merry Christmas

We came to Kauai for Christmas and loved our condo. It was clean and spacious with absolutely everything and anything we needed. Just a short walk to the beach and we were well supplied with all the beach gear we needed. It was a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to come back.

Excellent stay at Jeffrey’s place!

This place is wonderful. Jeffrey has truly thought of everything. We did a lot of cooking while we were there and he had every piece of equipment and most of the staples and spices that we needed. He had plenty of beach chairs and snorkeling equipment available.The beds are comfortable, it is very clean, and the location is incredible. Just a short walk to one of the most beautiful snorkeling beaches I’ve ever been to. We were able to walk down at sunset to watch the turtles, and snorkel at Poipu during the day. This is one place I would definitely return to. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We had an incredible vacation.

Amazing is an understatement

The communications from the beginning was excellent. An exact map was even sent, as all mapping software is a little off in the area. The multiple lanai areas of the condo were great, the two in the back (upper and lower) were where I spent much of my time while in the property. A short walk is the rocky shore at the ocean, with amazing views, and just a bit more of a walk and there is a beach. (Don't forget to walk a little farther and see the turtles at sunset and sunrise). It was a very quiet area to stay at night. And literally everything you need already (gadgets and pantry items abound) in the condo, minus good and drinks. Such a wonderful place and host, I look forward to staying here again on my next trip!!

Magical Experience in South Kauai

The Nihi Kai Villas as a property did not disappoint from the first impression to check out. We will choose the same location if we decide to return to Kauai. From the monk seals and turtles in the surf and on Poipu Beach practically in our front yard to the beautiful spots around the islands within driving distance. Our host was very responsive and our VRBO well-equipped, comfortable and perfect for our needs.
