The construction will be done floor by floor for each Hale. A property wide fire alarm system upgrade will be completed at this time. Please anticipate construction noise during daytime hours. Resort amenities will remain open.

Such a beautiful resort

We had been here years ago, and when we returned to Kauai this was where we wanted to stay! I love the grounds , with the lagoon and resident swan. People were very pleasant.

Our room at the Marriott waiohai was great! The pool was great, not too crowded... good drinks and decent food at the bar. The beach in front is nice. We often walked to Poipu with our kids which is a short walk. Would love to stay here again!

We had a great time at the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club! Our room was very nice with an ocean view. The resort was packed with amenities. Everyone was friendly and professional. This is a great place to travel with children. You could enjoy their lovely beach and never leave the resort!!!

We love this place and we go every year! It is great for families. It is perfectly located with many shops and food options within a short walking distance. It's also easy access to drive to the Other spots on the island. Vacation Candy is great - hassle free, great communication and never been a single problem!

Resort is the perfect family destination. Rooms have been recently redone and the grounds are well maintained. Beach has everything you’d want from snorkeling to surfing to boarding all seconds from the pool area. Drinks at bar are expensive but it’s Hawai’i.

Beautiful location

Loved the location of this property; located within steps of the "Peaceful" pool. Always a spot available at the pool and able to enjoy reading and resting at any time of day at this pool. The restaurant on site is very limited; however, the kitchens in the suites are very well equipped so plan on shopping and enjoy cooking in your suite and eating on your beautiful balcony and enjoying the incredibly beautiful landscaping.

Wonderful property

The Marriott vacation club properties are a wonderful combination of hotel and condo. You get most of the amenities you would in a hotel, with the addition of a full kitchen and in villa laundry facilities. This property is well maintained, and the unit we had was ocean view. I would stay here without an ocean view as well, because you can easily walk to the beach and enjoy the view in the morning. The location of the property is also right next to Brenneke’s beach, situated in a great spot in Poipu. I would stay here again!

Perfect getaway

We loved the resort. Everything was as advertised, clean and friendly. We loved the family friendly amenities like water slides, perfect beach with lounge chairs and a beautiful rock pool where the kids could snorkel in safe waters a short walking distance from the resort. The surrounds and landscaping was kept beautifully and the local character was never lost. We loved that it didn't look and feel corporate. The rooms were large and the comfortable beds were a plus. We loved it and would book with Vacation Candy any time again. The communication was straightforward and clear.

Second time at Poipu

As promised the room had a great ocean view. Property is in excellent condition with very well cared for grounds. Rooms were very comfortable for the 2 couples in our party and resort staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice pool areas allowing for guest who wanted a quiet area to relax or for those wanting to swim with the grandkids. Beach was just a few steps away if you wanted to get away from the pool for a while. A great location for all the activities in the area and we would not hesitate to book again. Awesome vacation all around and what you would expect from the best of Kauai. Mahalo!
