Ok Kitty who seems to be in management was amazing and so sweet. We originally booked a ‘superior’ room and is wasn’t great. It was basically staying in a basement. After 2 nights of that, we upgraded and got a ‘panarama’ room and it was well worth it. $1500 baht which is basically like $50 US dollars per night. Do not make the same mistake we did. The WiFi is not great but hotel staff and cleanliness was better than expected.

Hotel should not be rated as a 4 star. Shame on you Travelocity for not doing your research.
The front desk is both inexperienced and understaffed. They did not have the ability to deal with the high volume of guests we watched checking in and out. The staff was confused by simple questions such as requesting transportation. The hotel desperately needs a bell hop service to manage the poor system in which they process guests coming and going. It was all out pandanonium when we checked in as a large group were in the process of checking out and there was no management to handle the situation.
There is no clear information as to where anything is located and we were given any direction whatsoever from the staff. The facility is divided into three separate buildings and confusing signage does very little to direct you. It took us several tries to find the hotel restaurant.
We checked out early.

Run Down, Stinky Hotel
Pros:The pool
Cons:Cleanliness of room, room needs updating, do something about the sewer smell coming down the steps to the lobby.
I had expected better from this hotel considering the reviews. I suppose everyone can't stay in the "newer section" but really that's not an excuse for the condition of our room. It was really run down, the furniture was scratched and old, the walls were badly in need of paint and it wasn't clean. There was construction going on everywhere which doesn't lead to a relaxing vacation. The hotel staff were pleasant but didn't bother to tell you any of the amenities. We didn't find out until our 3rd day that there was a special beach for hotel guests - but when you asked about it and other things, you never really got a clear answer. And the hotel stinks badly in many areas as you're walking thru it. When you leave the lobby to go to your rooms, it always smells like sewage. I just wouldn't stay here again. It was the most expensive hotel we had in Thailand and the most disappointing. Way overpriced.
On a positive note, the pool is lovely.

Awesome experience! Loved this hotel!
Pros:clean, large rooms, good breakfast, close to the beach (10-15 min walk), nice pool, friendly staff, close to food and shops
Cons:Wifi did not work in the room. We spent our mornings in the lobby or at starbucks if we needed internet.
Location:Mcdonalds and starbuck next door, good street vendors down the streets, bars and shops all around
A good hotel always makes a trip better. This hotel did just that for me. It was my first visit to Krabi but if i ever go back or had to recommend a hotel to a friend it would be this one. The rooms were clean and large. We had a balcony with a little jacuzzi tub that looked toward the ocean. The staff was so nice and helpful. Booking tours at the hotel was a easy. We ran into a little issue with the booking process with Expedia but one of the staff members took control of the situation and fixed it by that night. (Thanks Kitty! )
