We stayed here for 5 nights and had a really great stay, we were a bit nervous after reading some reviews about noise level, but it was pretty quiet for the most part but YMMV. The A/C unit took a bit to get to the sweet spot and the building was a bit dinged up in spots, but the staff even with limited English was very sweet and accommodating. If location and price are two of the big checkmarks for you than I think Salty Sand is a good choice. If potential noise and partying isn’t for you I’d Mabye look elsewhere.

The room was somewhat clean, but the toilet seat was dirty. Also, the hotel looked newly built, actually not even finished, but old rusted taps and sinks. Very good location, close to main attractions. Nice and lovely staff ☺️

AC keeps resetting to blow directly in your face while sleeping, smell in the room was horrible - strong cleaning reagents covering it up. Got nauseous. Couldn’t sleep! Apparently previous guest left after 1 night despite longer booking.
