There was some confusing communication on the check-in and I was worried there would be a problem as I was arriving after 20:00. In the end there was no problem and there was staff to let me in and check me into the room. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, the room had fridge which was useful. The only downside was the breakfast. It was quite limited in terms of choice and hot food which is a pity considering how expensive the rooms were. Otherwise a nice place, helpful staff, great location.

Perfect!

Fantastic service as soon as we walked through the door. The room was spotless and we loved the way the windows in the bathroom made the room feel more spacious. The breakfast was more than perfect with both warm and cold food and we loved the ginger vitamin “shots”. As if that wasn’t enough the price of our double room was 20£ lower a night than the competition! The location was perfectly central. Don’t bother staying anywhere else cause this was the best!

Fine and quiet stay. Room 101 is big and spacious. Comfortable beds and pillows. Big bathroom with bathtub. Free tea and coffee in the lounge. A little of everything for breakfast. Free parking in the weekends just outside the hotel. Quick and polite service from the employees. Please note there is no door to the bathroom in the room 😃

Drainage smell from toilet all over the room

The toilet in my room smelled strongly to drainage and the smell was all over the room. I mentioned this to the reception who said that they had fixed it but ... same smell during the night. Clearly lack of maintenance of an old hotel building. Not nice for a paying customer.
