About this space
Very private 1920's historic log cabin retreat. Beautiful ocean and mountain views. The yard is full of a variety of native / non native plants and birds. Come enjoy a quiet getaway with cool nights and a warm cozy fireplace. TA registration number TA-070-604-1856-01.
The space
We are located at 3800 ft. Nights can get cool/cold, but the air is spectacular! The view from our location is stunning!
Guest access
The cabin is on a shared 6 acre property. Guests can enjoy the privacy of the yard around them. Also feel free to walk along the cabin road and enjoy the flowers!
Other things to note
Please be aware that we are in the country and do not spray harsh chemicals so ants and occasional bugs are a possibility.

Secluded perfection

Everything about this cabin is fantastic. From the incredible view to the special touches from the host like fresh flowers and fruit, we could not have been happier. Feels like camping but with all the necessities of a hotel. Our host was very communicative and there was not a thing we had to worry about. Cannot recommend this enough. 10/10

Sanctuary

This is a glorious spot. Tucked under the summit ridge of Haleakala on the slopes of Kula, this sweet log cabin is totally charming, private, with an amazing view of the west hills, valley and ocean. The sunset graces every evening right out the front door. A comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, laundry and beach gear makes this an easy visit. Our host was amazing, friendly and very helpful. We are coming back!!!
