Great value for money in heart of Kuta. Breakfast selection to suit all. Pool and restaurant in complex. Some noise from pool and nearby bars but acceptable. Poppie lane 2 close to the nearby Beachwalk centre

We arrived in after a long day, our check in staff was so helpful, even the security in the parking lot for the on site bar helped with our luggage. We had a great clean room, bathroom was exceptionally clean for Indonesia. Our room overlooked a beautiful pool. We were a little concerned as the street below was very busy and loud, however, our room was silent. We only stayed here for one night, but would again and would recommend. Walking distance to the beach and to the mall and so much more.

The staff are amazing with special mention to Ari at reception/check-in and Putu the room cleaner. The smaller pool was fantastic and not busy. I felt safe as a single female traveller and enjoyed my stay at Grand Barong. I would stay again.

We are seasoned Bali travellers and have stayed at many hotels. This is our 4th stay at the Grand Barong Hotel Kuta and I must say Im unsure if we will be back. The staff are friendly & very helpful, the rooms are serviced daily & air-conditioned, breakfast is suffice and has multiple choices, the hotel money exchange is great & the location is perfect. What is not great is the guests that sit in the pool bar drinking all day until they are absolutely fully intoxicated. They gradually get louder & louder the more they drink....the vile loud comments/conversations they have with each other is disgusting & can be heard from inside your room, let alone sitting at the pool yourself. These people then get into arguments with their partners/friends/stangers which turns violent. We witnessed this twice during an 8 day stay. I shall add that we also witnessed this type of behaviour on our last stay there aswell. This is very upsetting & intimidating for other guests, especially guests with children. The workers almost seem too scared to approach these people, let alone remove them and ban them from the hotel, which is understandable given the size difference at times. Which then leads to visitors like myself questioning about future stays.
