Hotel is located just north of all the attractions in Gion. Its an easy walk to hop on the metro for most attractions but if you prefer to be more central to all the shopping and tourist area, then look somewhere a little southwest. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a pretty good sized room with three double beds. Breakfast was good. There is little to no places for breakfast around the area before 11 am. So if you want an early breakfast, I suggest just eating breakfast at the hotel. I did, however, find a few spots for AM coffee within a few minutes walk from our hotel.

I was very happy with the property, the only minor note is that I wish we had free water bottles daily like other hotels, though this is offset by the free drinks downstairs which I was happy about. Overall a great stay.

Located in a more quiet neighborhood but only 15min walk to downtown Kyoto. Room and property is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

The rooms are fantastic great size for Japan standards and clean and comfortable! The staff are very friendly on the front desk and this Hotel is in a great location to explore Kyoto close walking distance to public transport also. We ate in the restaurant for two mornings for breakfast the selection was great and the food was delicious worth the money!

The room was great sized. The hotel is in a beautiful location near excellent restaurants and shopping. The amenities were excellent as well with the on site drink machine as well as all the other freebies offered. Will stay here again when we come back to Kyoto.
