Hidekazu Saki, the manager of the Ronde restaurant, was accomodating, friendly and very helpful. He spoke great English.
Check in was confusing because I didn't know our room was in a different building.I
Staff not friendly at all at the counter check in, the restaurant, baggage etc. In the restaurant four of us went in
for a night cap but one of the four did not feel like drinking. Restaurant policy is that to sit down every person must order a drink. On another day tried to get a cup of coffee and we were not allowed unless we bought the buffet breakfast. The staff here have no concept of what customer service is. No safes in room.
Very nice hotel closer to everything, room is bigger than other hotel i stay in Japan. The only downside is they reserved the room farthest in elevator which is not convenience for senior person. Some staff are not knowledgeable than others.
