The hotel is very clean. Very pleasant and helpful staffs. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Very peaceful atmosphere. Public bath is clean. Relaxing to walk around the neighborhood.
Great staff , very nice and large rooms , slightly old and carpets in corridors. But highly recommend the area and the atmosphere, very welcoming and great facilities like washing machines
We absolutely loved our stay! We were treated so well, they were attentive to every need and so helpful! We enjoyed a Koto concert, tea ceremony, traditional Japanese breakfast, loved our room, there is a Public Bath, and itâs a quick walk to the Family Mart! They even gave me a little gift for my birthday. Highly recommend!
Beautiful property. Professional, kind and helpful staff. Convenient location, slightly out of tourist zone so it's peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend.
Traditional Japanese tatami flooring rooms, extremely warm staff and hosts, such a calm zen garden, lovely onsens , Japanese breakfast to die for. Look nowhere else if you are planning a stay in kyoto
Wonderful Ryokan with lovely owners. Great room and staff. Enjoyed the tea ceremony, Japanese breakfast and public bath. Definitely recommend in a nice quiet bit of Kyoto.
This is such a lovely hotel, it being clean and staff are friendly. We were completely immersed into the Japanese culture where we were offered the typical
Kyoto breakfast (there is a small fee to pay for breakfast ) and experienced the tea ceremony. The hotel also offer free 2h walking tour and a 30 min Koto performance.
This was a very special stay for us. Anyone going to Japan should spend some time at a Ryokan. This one in particular was spectacular. Youâre greeted with a breath-taking view of the garden when walking in, the staff were all very friendly and spoke great English. The western and Japanese breakfasts were both delicious. The tea ceremony was in particular very special for my wife and I.
