The Osen and massage chairs were very relaxing at the end of the day. The free afternoon ice cream and nighttime ramen was a bonus. The hotel was also near Kyoto station making it convenient to get around to other places. The only negative was that the pillows were hard and the beds are firmer than what we are used to. Other than that the place was great and I would stay here again. Traveled with two adults and two older teens. We booked two separate rooms.

The Best Hotel !!

This was my favorite Hotel I stayed in Japan, the staff very polite and kind. The room was beautiful, the moment you walk in you can feel the peaceful atmosphere. The staff greets you at the door, and helpful. The hot spring was wonderful , nice touch of kimono in the room, sleepers, nice coffee bar , Ramen at the night just 10 out 10, I will be recommending this Hotel to anyone I know is going to Kyoto, if I ever come back this is where I will stay. Thank you!

Wonderful hotel for my family of 4. We stayed in a room with three beds - a queen and two twins. We had separate bedrooms. All of the amenities - the onsen, breakfast, massage chairs, free nightly ice cream and ramen - all made this a fabulous and memorable stay. We Wish the cold plunge in the women's onsen was open for use - that's my only complaint. Stay here. Walkable from the train station, even for people with bad knees.
