the breakfast was really good the staff mainly spoke japanese but wrre still very friendly and helpful but the building is pretty old som walls have stains it wasnt really the ryukon experience i was looking for just because it was more of a hotel then small Japanese house but i feel like if your not expecting that and just want a hotel thats classic on the inside in kyoto this isnt a bad choice

A lovely gem in a very central and safe location in Kyoto. The staff knew what I wanted and even took extra steps to help me maximize my stay, like calling my room when I'd forgotten about the breakfast I'd booked.
