Awesome Hotel!

I loved staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly (and beautiful). The hotel has a nice common lobby area where they serve a good buffet breakfast in the morning (unfortunately it isn't free). Late in the evening people hang out and catch up on their internet and plan the next day's events. You meet a lot of interesting people from around the world here. There can be street noise in the room at night, but the AC fan drowns it out. The location is perfect, right in the delightful town of La Fortuna. You can drive or taxi to all the surrounding recreational activities.

Nothing special.

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Location: The waterfall is great. If you're looking for an authentic Costa Rican experience, the city of La Fortuna isn't the place.
I was given a key card for my room on the third floor. After using the "workout" room, I accidently went to the same room but on the second floor, and the key worked. I walked right into another person's room, but thankfully they weren't there at the time, and I'm an honest person. The remote controls for both the tv and the air conditioner were really lousy. I had to go down an get a different one for the air, and many buttons on the tv remote didn't work, making it a pain. My room faced the volcano, but never saw it because of the clouds. I speak fluent Spanish, but the front desk insisted on speaking to me in English. In fact, I didn't like this town at all. The waterfall outside of town is spectacular, though.
