Esprit de la Meije charms with its cosy, vertical layout, which is perfect for a stay for four, such as two couples or a family. Its welcoming atmosphere with wood and stone décor is relaxing as well as highly practical.

The second floor is the heart of the home, with a balcony and a wood-burning stove. This is where you will get together to cook, eat and relax, with a comfortable seating area and a fully equipped kitchen. And when you step out onto the balcony, you’ll feel as if you could almost reach out and touch La Meije and the Écrins Massif.

The two bedrooms each have their own character and an en-suite bath or shower room – a real luxury for a chalet of this size. The top-floor suite, which has a whirlpool bath, is designed as a relaxing retreat after an active day. On the lower level, the second bedroom opens onto a balcony, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air as soon as you rise. This room can be arranged with a large double or two twin beds.

The garage doubles as a practical entrance after skiing or hiking, with space for equipment and a heated boot dryer.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

PLEASE NOTE
If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.
