Come relax in this newly remodeled, small second level apartment that sits just above a garage behind our Bette's Beach House vacation rental and enjoy all that La Jolla has to offer. Perfectly located, you can start your mornings off with a quick five minute walk down to La Jolla's most famous and beautiful beach, Windansea Beach or stroll up to one of the local restaurants and grab breakfast and a cup of coffee. Or, drive a mile up the road and spend the day enjoying all of the famous shopping and restaurants of the La Jolla Village.

Perfect for a couple looking to get away or a small family, this unit can sleep four comfortably. The bedroom boasts a super comfortable memory foam queen-sized bed. In addition, the living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa which can be used to sleep an additional 2 people.

This great unit comes equipped with a flatscreen SmartTV, free WIFI and a fully equipped kitchen for a quick breakfast before heading out to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer.

ABOUT THE AREA:

La Jolla is another San Diego neighborhood exuding a Mediterranean village atmosphere. La Jolla Shores' picturesque sandy beach runs north from La Jolla Cove and offers great snorkeling and scuba diving. Known for its galleries, shops, restaurants and the highly scenic coastline, La Jolla is also home to branch of the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Diego. To the north of La Jolla is Torrey Pines, home to the Torrey Pines Golf Course, one of the nation's finest public golf courses and the site of the Farmers Insurance Open in late January or early February. Located around the course is the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, which offers paths and rock outcroppings to hike on as you make your way to pristine and often empty beaches.

Great little apartment

The apartment is small but nice and big enough for a few days. There is no colander so pasta is hard to make. It's an easy walk to the beach and grocery stores! Very nice neighbors.

We were here for one week and this little above garage apartment was perfect for two. Convenient to beaches, La Jolla and Scripps it was just what we were looking for. Well furnished and very comfy queen bed.

Location top! Management very poor!

Cleanliness: the dishes were dirty when we arrived. We had to rewash the the dishes. Also the apartment was dirty. Lots of hair from humen being (not ours) were still around. I contacted the management via email about the cleaniness but they didn't answer me. Check-in process: I contacted the management some days before our check-in if they need anything else then what I already sended via email. I never got an answer. When we arrived we couldn't check-in and had to spend the first night in another hotel. Until today I didn't received any reaction or comment about this from the management. Accuracy of online listing: The kitchen was not well equipped e.g. no forks In the handbook was written that there were beach chairs and and umbrella. When we wanted to use them we realised that there we no beach chairs. I emailed the management but until today I got no answer. All in all it was very disappointing and not the service what I am expecting when I am booking for my holidays. Especially the non-communication from management site is a totally no go.

Nice Bungalow

Great little spot when visiting La Jolla. Things are within walking distance, or an easy drive. As its own little 'house', the bungalow has no one beneath, above, or on the other side of the wall.....making it a great escape from the typical hotel room.

Bettes Bungalow

Overall a really cute rental property. My only negative feedback is this property was not advertised as being the garage of a main house that was also a rental. The home was able to use the outdoor living space but we were not at Bettes. So it made for a few interesting encounters with the renters of the actual home.
