Issues encountered during our stay: Unsafe and unclean amenities: The jacuzzi water was murky to the point where I could not see my feet. The pool also appeared outdated and poorly maintained. Excessive parking fee: Despite the hotel and structure being nearly empty, I was charged $57 for parking—an unreasonable surprise. Non-functional toilet: Our room’s toilet was broken and constantly running. We tried multiple times to call for assistance using the hotel phone, but received no answer. Only after calling from my personal cellphone were we connected to someone at the front desk. Room safety hazards: The ceiling in our room showed signs of water damage, and one of the electrical outlets was completely dislodged—posing a serious safety risk, especially as we were traveling with a baby.

this is one tired property that continues to charge rates that are far from worth it. i've been coming to this property for over 20 years (last visit about 4 years ago) and nothing has changed...from the cracks in the concrete pavement at the portico to crummy shower valves that are simply worn out. I pick here for convenience when i come to UCSD La Jolla for medical issues.
