Everything you need

Very nice property equipped with everything you might need. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach equipment that was provided was just spectacular. The owner’s attention to the little details were much appreciated. I would highly recommend!

This apartment is a gem! The location is unbeatable—close to the beach, vibrant neighborhood, and top-notch restaurants. Wonderful stay again!

This property is wonderful. We have stayed here with our two young kids multiple times. The unit has two bedrooms with a great room for the kids with two twin beds. There are tons of games, toys for the kids and books. You can’t ask for a more convenient location. About 100 steps to the beach and multiple great restaurants, coffee shops and stores on the block. Terrie is a wonderful host and always checks in to make sure everything is ok. We’ll be back again!

Great stay

The location was great and it was really wonderful having everything you would need for the beach provided. We just loaded up the wagon and spent the day at the beach several times. Many great restaurants on the walk to the beach, a fun environment for our family of four.

Beach Beauty

Everything about our stay was perfect and mirrored the many five star reviews this gem and its delightful owner garner. The property is ideally located a pleasant short walk to the beach; the beach itself is terrific for just about any beach activity from vigorous to lazy and great for all generations of a family. The surrounding little neighborhood is charming, fun and lively; it’s summer happy with enough little shops and a range of restaurants to keep you local if you choose. The garage parking is a dream: We appreciated it each time we took the car out. The unit itself is perfect. Everything you could think of has been thoughtfully put there in this sparkling clean, relaxing space. Very well outfitted with comfortable beds and highly functional and inviting living spaces. Terrie is the most helpful and competent owner you could ever meet. She goes above and beyond in all ways. Thank you Terrie!! We can’t wait to come back next summer!!

Another amazing stay at this condo!

We love spending our yearly family vacations at this wonderful condo. It's clean and stocked. The condo comes with a wagon, beach toys, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. It is well-equipped with shower towels, games, books, dishes, and cooking ware. It's walking distance from the beach, great shops, and wonderful restaurants. Terrie is the best!!! Additional info: We ate at Piatta's, Brick & Bell, Sandpiper, & Barbarella's. The shops are great, especially Ocean Girl downstairs; CUTE stuff at reasonable prices and superb customer service. Everyday CA was great for Kayak rentals and SEA Surf school was a hit with the teens. During, this visit, we caught a musical at the La Jolla Theater; it was amazing. During some day trips out, we went to the museums, hiked a slot canyon, and did a Star Trek VR Experience at the mall. Always a great time in San Diego, and this condo is located near so much cool stuff. For reference, our kids are 16, 14, & 8. This condo is great for ALL, especially for families or girls' weekend! Thank you, Terrie, for another wonderful visit!!

THE place to stay in LJ Shores

We have stayed here three times and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! The owner, Terrie, is the absolute best! She brought over supplies for us before hurricane Hillary hit because she was worried about us! The place is always clean for our stay and well appointed for any cooking needs. Can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful week at the beach!

This was our third time staying at this property because we love it so much! There is the perfect amount of space for our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) to hang out. Terrie is such a thoughtful host! The location is perfect - close to a ton of cute restaurants and shops. Description is very accurate, as are the pictures. Everything you need for a week at the beach is included (toys, towels, coolers, wagon and boogie boards). Highly recommend this property!!

Another awesome visit!

My family and I enjoyed another awesome vacation at this condo in La Jolla. This is our ninth summer renting this great condo; we have also visited during spring break and Thanksgiving. This condo is the perfect girlfriend or family getaway spot. It is clean and well-kept up. It has everything you need for beach trips, activities, and food options. The kitchen is fully stocked. Towels, paper goods, beach towels/wagon/toys and umbrella are available. There’s a convenient garage parking as well. We stayed for 12 days during this visit. During our stay, we enjoyed the playground at the beach daily. We added the San Diego haunted tour and the Seal Tour to our itinerary; both were awesome. We also enjoyed renting, paddle boards and kayaks from La Jolla Kayak. Terrie is the best! She always kind, responsive, and accommodating. We are already looking forward to next summer’s trip!!

Ideal Vacation

I stayed here with my husband and two boys (ages 3 and 5) and it was perfect for us. Location was ideal with a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and dining. Also central for our trips to the zoo, safari park, USS Midway, and Coronado. The place was equipped with everything we needed and the owner was incredibly responsive to our questions. We’re already talking about planning another trip back to stay here again!

Perfect Stay at La Jolla Shores

We've used vrbo the last 10+ years domestically and internationally and I've never had a listing more accurate than this one. It was a perfect week in La Jolla Shores. Terrie was an excellent hostess right from the beginning. She provided excellent communication and customer service. It was our first time to this area and she gave us loads of recommendations. She checked in with us before we traveled, once we'd arrived and was always punctual via text when we had questions. The house was perfect for us; traveling as a family we have 3 teenagers. Enough space for everyone, 2 bathrooms, big kitchen/lounge area. Our 6'3" son found the couch and pull out bed comfortable. Abundant supply of bath towels, linens, blankets/pillows, beach towels, kitchen supplies, beach chairs. The garage was so helpful as we found parking to be a challenge everywhere. The location of the house is fantastic! Short walk to the beach, restaurants, small market and ice cream. We appreciated a few days where we didn't even get in the car. While it's an active street during the day, inside the house and at night it's peaceful. We didn't have any noise concerns and we were here over a holiday weekend. Terrie was a fantastic hostess, the apartment was perfect and made for a wonderful week! Definitely 5 Stars from us!

Perfect location for our family in La Jolla!

We stayed at this property in June and it was perfect for our family of 4, including two littles. It was just as described and as the pictures showed. The location is perfect; it’s walking distance to the beach and steps from restaurants that were all family friendly. I was a little nervous if the location would be loud at night, but as described in the posting and other reviews, it is quiet at night despite being so close to everything. We cooked breakfast every day and had all the kitchen supplies we would need plus more than enough options for the beach including chairs and toys. Terri the host sent the check in instructions early and checked on what we needed for our littles, which was appreciated. She also checked in to make sure everything was going ok. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful unit and location

This was our second time staying in this unit. It is a perfect location for easy access to La Jolla Shores beach and all the restaurants in La Jolla Shores by walking just a matter of steps. The unit is perfect for our family of four, including two toddlers. My kids love all the toys and kids books in the unit. The unit is super clean, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of beach gear.
