This charming cottage is just steps to the beach, shops, restaurants and everything that La Jolla Shores has to offer. You will enjoy a private enclosed courtyard as well as a private deck area off the master bedroom. The home is nicely updated and well appointed. The living room is open to dining and flows into the kitchen area. The master has a king bed and the secondary bedroom offers twin beds. This property has great outdoor space to enjoy.

Amazing stay/location!

Just a 3 day weekend for my son to learn to surf. This was an ideal location with the Surf Diva Surf School just a couple minutes walk away. Restaurants, shops all right there. This is a perfect location! The place was exactly as pictured/described. It has a little wear and tear but perfectly clean and a lovely home.

Happy surprises!

I was continually delighted to see that these hosts prepared for our stay as if we were long time friends staying in their home. More than the basics, anything we could have needed was provided! From beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards and chairs, to a VERY well equipped kitchen. We even found a set of chopsticks to go with our sushi! And high quality and pretty things, like cups, plates and wine glasses. I was very appreciative of it all. Just a lovely home away from home in a fun and beautiful spot. I really can’t say enough. I just wished we had stayed longer; I really wanted to test out that grill!

Location! Location! Location!

We had an awesome time staying in this cute bungalow. The location couldn’t be better- close to the beach and restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable, and John was attentive and communicative. The tandem parking works fine by just communicating with the other renters.We stayed 2 months and can’t wait to go back!

Winter getaway

Spent a long weekend here to escape New England winter. The location was perfect with easy beach access, and just minutes from La Jolla Village and Torrey Pines trails by car. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

Perfect Getaway

I generally stay in La Jolla 3-4x a year to get away from the Texas heat. This was my first time at this particular location and I will definitely be back! You simply can’t beat the location! It’s located in a really cute neighborhood with lots or privacy around the front and back patio. It’s in walking distance to the water and great restaurants! The house comes with everything you need, including comfy beds a washer/dryer and an assigned parking spot. John was responsive within a matter of minutes when I had a question. #biggestbangforyourbuck

Cool pad in La Jolla shores

We had another good stay at John's place in La Jolla shores. We love the location a few blocks from the beach and surf. The place is comfortable for our family and the outdoor patio is a great place to hang out and eat meals.

This was a great experience in all manners. Perfect place for my family.

This was the perfect stay for our family. We could do an easy walk to the beach. We had everything we needed for cooking meals and we had the right amount of space. The patio is fantastic. John was great, checking in a few times to make sure all was good and was generous in accommodating our arrival and departure times.

Location location location

This property is so perfectly located to enjoy all the The Shores has to offer. No need to make coffee in the morning, just step down the street and get some quality java at a cafe. Restaurants and ice cream and a mini mart are all so close! The property itself was clean, water pressure was great in the shower, the air conditioning really does cool down the living room and master bedroom - we slept so well during a rare S. CA heatwave. There were plenty of towels for our beach days. Highly recommend - and we will come back. :-)

Excellent location, plenty of room for four!

Family of four with adult kids - stayed August 2022. Had everything we need - lots of dining options a block away, about 4 blocks to the beach, nice outdoor sitting areas, beach toys and boogie boards. Room with two twins does not have an AC unit, but overall temp was comfortable despite August heat. Highly recommend.

Exceptional house in a perfect location

Fantastic rental. Literally steps from the main strip of La Jolla Shores will all of its great restaurants and shops, with the beach another few minutes past there. The house was beautifully appointed and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and spacious, and both patios were incredibly private and beautiful. Knowing we'd always have a garage parking spot was peace of mind in such a busy area, too. Perfect home base for our family of four. Great host as well!

A wonderful stay.

We were very happy with all aspects of our stay. John was great in contacting me with all the info. The house was very nice with everything you would need. I loved the succulents and the little patio area. It was close to everything what more could you want. We parked the car in the garage and left it there.

Convenient to beach, restaurants, coast walk

Wonderful relaxing breakfasts on the porch w 10 foot hedges, lots of privacy. Beautiful succulents to look at. Fully equipped kitchen. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Lovely area. Relaxing. We walked on Torrey Pines Road and discovered the coast walk which has the towering cliffs and sea lions and the roaring Pacific Ocean.
