LOCATION Beautiful Windansea Beach! Our home is located in the laid back beach La Jolla community of Windansea, a great family friendly area with a white sandy swim/surf beach and local eats just a short walk away! Sneak peek:
DINING Some of our favorite nearby eateries include Busy Bee's Bagels, Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, LJ Crafted Wines, Wheat & Water wood-fired pizza & Duke's La Jolla family eatery. Also just a few blocks to Valley Farm organic grocery market & butchery shop.
ACTIVITIES Within 1 block to the famous Windansea beach, which is both swim and surf friendly. Also nearby is La Jolla Cove, with great snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking.
ATTRACTIONS Just a few minutes away is the Village of La Jolla, with endless shops & entertainment. A quick Uber ride South will get you to Belmont Park's Big Dipper roller coaster and all new Plunge pool. Other attractions include ~10min drive to Sea World, over the hill is ~20min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~15min drive to Del Mar fairgrounds and racetrack.

GUEST REQUIREMENTS | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30. OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight. NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premises without any refund and additional charges may be assessed. COMBINATION LISTINGS | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve an approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay. RESERVATION CONFIRMATION | Upon confirmation of your reservation, you will receive arrival instructions, parking details, wifi access, and tips on local eats & attractions.
Location, location, location ! That was the best part. Place very clean and kitchen with good pots and pans for cooking. The downside was bed not comfortable especially the pillows. No AC and fans very loud and no screens on windows. Couch was very comfortable.
This a great place for the price! Walking down to watch the surfers every morning was a highlight. Perfect for a couple's getaway. A couple nitpicks: Buy a small bag of cofffee for arriving guests who don't make it to a grocery store when they arrive, and open the.place up the day guests are arriving. It was so hot the first night I barely slept.
Lovely breezy esthetic. Small, but nicely furnished. Good kitchen equipment. Easy walk to a lovely beach. Eateries within walking distance. Very fun stay.
Cute walk up, as described and pictured. Great neighborhood close to beach and walking distance to town. Nicely furnished, light and airy, clean and comfortable. Only issue if Iâm being picky is the windows, which are hard to operate and donât stay open or closed very well. Despite them, I would definitely rent again.
The apartment is very clean and comfortable and in a great location. Very walkable or just a short drive to great restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed drinking wine in the courtyard in the early evening.
My family of four, and one golden retriever, really enjoyed our week at this property. Being able to walk to one of La Jollaâs most beautiful beaches was fantastic. The walk was short and easy. The property was very green and well kept. We really appreciated being in the top unit where we could open the windows and get airflow on the warmer days. The fans provided in the unit were a must for hotter days. The coffee maker and blender were great. Lastly, we were concerned that the street parking might not work out every day of our stay, but actually it was never an issue, even on weekends. The garage was too small for our SUV, so we had to use street parking. Overall a great place to stay!
I donât think I could have found a better location for my trip to La Jolla. The was very cute and felt very safe. The hosts reached out almost immediately upon check-in to ask if I needed anything and replied quickly to my questions. The bed was comfortable. There were available fans (very important for quality sleep). The kitchen was well-equipped. Most notably, the beach was just steps away and I could access everything I wanted to do just by walking out my front door. I have only positive things to say about this rental.
