- Discover the beaches of Lac de Cazaux, its little port and its restaurants with your feet in the water!
- Paddles, pedalos and no-licence boats for hire
- A little train, opposite the Arcachon tourist office, will give you plenty of ideas of things to discover!
- At lunchtime, treat yourself to an oyster tasting session in one of the Bassin's oyster ports, La Teste or Gujan, or at the Arcachon market (bring a container if you want them opened, and don't go too late for this request), then set off to conquer the Dune du Pilat!
- There are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty to Cap Ferret, Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées.
- The arguin bank, transparent water, paradise on earth!
- Cruise down the Leyre to the ornithological park at Le Teich, where you can choose to be accompanied by a guide or paddle alone.
- Zoo at La Teste, aqualand park at Gujan.
- Walk through the forest to the dune (ask at the tourist office).
