La Tranche sur Mer is a city on the edge of the ocean which will reveal many facets to you. You will be able to discover the marshes, the forest, the beach ... multiple landscapes that will not leave you indifferent.
Facing the Ile de RĂ©, La Tranche retains and cultivates its island character. We find there the charm of low houses with white walls and red tiled roofs; you get lost in the cobbled streets that intertwine to finally converge on the Grande Place in the center of the village.
13 km of fine sandy beaches, 8 of which face south, La Tranche is a succession of renowned spots for surfing, kite surfing, sand yachting and windsurfing. Windsurfers call it "Little California".
Four districts, four faces: The town center, La GriĂšre to the south, the Lighthouse to the west and the Hameau de la TerriĂšre.
