The Neighborhood: Eastern Istria is where the green hills meet the sea, where nature and heritage become one. There you will find Labin and Rabac - paradise for artists. The old mediaeval town of Labin is filled with art ateliers. The history of the town of Labin dates back to the second century BC. Today, Labin is divided into two parts: the old town, which is a network of winding cobbled streets at the top of the hill overlooking the Kvarner coast, and the new town, which contains the most shops and services at the bottom of the hill. The nearest town along the coast is the town of Rabac, a busy tourist resort, completely dedicated to tourism where you can find a rich gastronomic offer but also many beautiful beaches.
This place is fantastic , with a view , pool, rooms , outdoor kitchen , jacuzzi. We enjoyed our stay whit friends and family. Nearest beach is about 25-30 minutes.
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Ultima! The house is beautiful and the view is absolutely gorgeous. It is in a remote area, which is great if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place. Communication with the property manager was excellent and he was very responsive to any questions and/or requests. The owner could do a bit of a better job with the upkeep of the house. There was some water damage inside and the outside landscaping by the hot tub looked rough. It seemed like the other houses looked a bit nicer. But overall we would stay at this property again.
The villa was very clean and tidy and the views were spectacular. The villa managers and the local host (Danijel) were quick to respond to questions and were really helpful. You need to drive down quite a narrow road to access the property which is generally fine though can be more challenging if you meet a speeding local coming the other way.
