Great location with history

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Juliet Hotel in Lafayette, and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel exudes a sense of heritage and glamour that immediately sets it apart. My room was exceptional—spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. I slept extremely well, which speaks volumes about both the bed quality and the overall peaceful ambiance. The surroundings were just as impressive, with plenty of dining and shopping choices all within easy walking distance. It made exploring Lafayette a real joy without needing to rely on transportation. Overall, I would highly recommend The Juliet Hotel to anyone looking for a charming and luxurious place to stay. It offers the perfect blend of character, comfort, and convenience.

-Cooked to order breakfast advertised is not available -Coffee table leg needs fixed -Shower head needs replaced -Shower curtain needs to be longer to keep water from wetting floor making it slippery -Need somewhere to put soap and shampoo in shower and tub -Need soap dish on sink -Need to use toilet brush and cleaner to clean under rim of toilet to get rid of black mold -Coffee table sticky -Need to clean couch -Need to clean stuff under couch and under couch cushions -Need 2 luggage stands -Need another nightstand -Need a microwave stand -Bedroom tv needs to be higher up -Need security/front desk person at night 7 pm-10 am. Overall, the hotel was very nice. Inside it was like stepping back 100 years, which was neat. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. Had some nice places to sit, and the bathroom was large. My only complaint if you want to call it that, is that the tub and toilet had stains in them that I don't believe could come out. So it just made you feel it it was less than clean. After staying in new orleans, it was really nice to have a hotel where the parking was just a natural part of a stay at hotel, no charge. Their parking lot was right on the property as well. Great proximity to the Cajundome. There is a tiny unmaintained pool in the courtyard that truly should come out. They could make use of the space for seating for guests or something, but that's about it.

Overall it was great. The entire building smelled like pinesol cleaner. The floor in our room was sticky - from so much pine sol. It was quiet and clean which is most important.

Room had old furniture, old bed coverings, dingy dirty floors and bathroom and air stale. Wife would not even stand is tub to shower. . At check in clerk gave me key and said we will text you a phone number no one on property between 7pm and 7 am. Text if you need anything or have issues with entering building after these hours.

My room review.

The tv is small(25/27 inch). If you hit a certain light switch the tv turns off. They don't tell you this, i had figured it out. There was no air-conditioning on the second floor lobby area, the heat was unbelievable. My room was clean, and comfy bed.

Great staff, but too many problems with hotel

Website says breakfast but there was no breakfast. No equipment in gym, no shampoo/etc, keurig didn’t work, AC was inconsistent, several lights didn’t work. Room wasn’t ready well after check-in time. BUT, the staff were all very friendly and the hotel was clean. Beds are comfy. Great location and easy parking. Unfortunately just too many issues, so we won’t be staying here again.

The staff were very kind and helpful. However, nothing worked. We had to switch rooms because the door didn't lock. The toilet rocked back and forth. The second room's TV had the wrong remote so we had to ask for assistance again. The elevator was dirty and paint was chipped and the walls were cracked in the rooms.
