O' Charco Lovely villa with annex with private pool

Located a short distance from Carvoeiro (5 minutes by car, 20 minutes on foot), this house is set on a double plot, which means it has ample space for the whole family. There is a private pool that can be heated (extra cost), grassed area for children to play, darts, table tennis, pool table, and swings and slides. The house has two double bedrooms inside that share a bathroom. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious and has a separate area for the washing machine. There is a dining table with a view of the pool. The annex has an additional double bed, 2 single beds, 1 bathroom, television, fridge and kettle. There is a large barbecue and external dining table. The house is completely enclosed and secure so you can relax while the children play.

Magnifique séjour

Magnifique villa parfaite les familles avec enfants. TrÚs bien équipé.il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Serviettes de plage fournies. Jouets pour les enfants. Belle piscine. Service de nettoyage. Nous avons passé de super soirées dans le coin salon à l'extérieur.

Superbe

Nous avons passĂ© une merveilleuse semaine dans cette maison si accueillante. Les Ă©quipements extĂ©rieurs sont nombreux et parfaits. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Tout Ă©tait parfait avec un petit bĂ©mol sur les Ă©quipements en cuisine qui ne sont pas suffisants (manque de casseroles, plats, boites de rangements) quand on cuisine pour 8 mais cela n’altĂšre pas notre merveilleux sĂ©jour.

Fabulous property in Carvoiero

Travelled in a family group with 5 adults and 2 children. We have stayed in Carvoiero multiple times and this property didn't disappoint. The separate annex works offering space and privacy to 2 family groups. The children loved the pool and gardens to play in. A brilliant stay!

Tolle Villa

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen. Sie liegt halt nicht um Zentrum, dafĂŒr hat sie eine gute Anbindung in alle Richtungen fĂŒr Tagestouren. FĂŒr die Jahreszeit war der beheizte Pool sensationell. Im Haupthaus können vier Personen in den beiden Schlafzimmern ĂŒbernachten. In dem Anbau weitere vier Personen in einem großen gemeinsamen Raum.

Lovely villa

We used the main villa which is a mix of modern and traditional, the separate annex is brand new so higher spec. Bedrooms were great size and beds comfy, lots of space in wardrobe and chester drawers in each room. Bathroom was tony but absolutely fine, the shower tray isn't great so defo use the shower mat as it leaks everywhere...however hang it up and next morning bone dry! Lounge and dining area great, husband lives the firestick in the TV lol! Lots of books and games in the cabinet which was nice. Kitchen great! Knives where super sharp, freezer is in the utility room out back which took a while to find lol. Outdoor seating areas are beautiful, so much space and it was so peaceful. Loved the lime trees and excellent to help yourself great touch to our drinks! Pool was lovely, however few tiles missing which scrapped a few knees and the grass around it isn't ideal as kids had to be so careful of the wasps in the grass. Kids little park area was nice touch for small children but the swing seats need replacing as they were unusable due to broken sharp plastic. Lots of bats, balls etc which was lovely. Local supermarkets are really close too! The welcome folder needs to be on display as we didn't see it for a few days, maybe some small essentials for when arriving would be a nice touch. Also knowing what day the maids were coming would be great, the shower round the back (outside) was dirty and full of popped balloons. Overall great stay!

Outside: Large clean pool with sunbeds, umbrellas and outside shower. Dart board, table tennis and pool table to keep us entertained :). Multiple outside seating areas with fairy lights for a large group. Electronic gate which allowed us to park two rental cars on the property and off the street. Inside: Big beds with fluffy pillows with plenty of blankets and duvets. Powerful A/C in every bedroom to keep you cool at night. Kitchen is fully stoked to prepare big meals. Fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, juicer, induction hob. Multiple TV's and even a PS4 with games and movies to watch. Bathrooms are modern, sleek and clean. Showers are hot and powerful. Service: Maids came halfway through the holiday to give the property a clean. Mariana, our landlady, offered lots of advice for restaurants, fun activities, and how to make the most of our stay in Portugal. We had one issue halfway through the stay, and Mariana had a team member come to fix it within an hour, so excellent communication and response on her side. We did NOT notice any unpleasant smells at this property like some reviews mention. Final thoughts: Thank you Mariana for letting us enjoy your home. Our group had a really special time in Portugual. This would be perfect for groups of friends and family. If we ever came back we would most definitely book this property again, 10/10. P.S A fresh set of kithchen knives would be excellent however.

Fabulous property for family and friends

We loved our week stay as two families of friends at this gorgeous spacious villa. The outside area is just fabulous and was such a great space to enjoy the beautiful Portuguese weather. The pool is in the sun until well into the evening but there’s plenty of opportunity for shade if needed. Our youngest son’s fav was a bean bag under the trees. The comfy seating area and games area offer opportunity to escape the sun too. The villa is such a great layout for two families. The annexe is modern and spacious and suited our family of four perfectly. Older reviews mention lack of equipment, the owners have obviously responded to this wholeheartedly as the villa is so well equipped. There are many things it is reasonable to manage without for a week’s holiday but this villa had every utensil or pot or tub you could think to use. Visiting at Easter the evenings got cooler and although our days were spent outside in the spacious garden the dining room area was great for card and board games between our two families. The villa is in a quiet residential area that enables a really relaxing stay. Being overlooked has been mentioned and the balcony of one neighbour does overlook the pool area but we did not find it in any way intrusive. We stayed over Easter bank holiday weekend and the neighbour had family celebrations throughout the weekend using the balcony widely but we never felt overlooked. The balcony is built up and the neighbours appeared to be very considerate of not looking over. The villa is a pleasant walk into Carvoeiro, hills can’t be avoided for the return journey but Ubers were a reasonable £3/4 if preferred. Intermarche is a reasonable Uber trip for a shop too. This is the second property we have stayed at in Portugal managed by Elite Rentals and they have been great both times, extremely responsive when needed. We had some issues accessing the property largely due to our ignorance of the existence of extending keys but a quick phone call sorted it and the company were prepared to come to the property if we hadn’t managed to work it out during the call.

Nice villa shame about the location

Very nice well equiped villa. Location not ideal. Although the villa is on a spacious plot it is very overlooked by the neighbouring properties. It is also in a residential area rather than a tourist area. There was an unpleasant smell at times from the nearby sewage plant.
