Located 6 Km from the village of Ferragudo, on the cliffs, by the sea, with a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Portimão Marina, and 200 meters from the charming Caneiros Beach and 250 meters from the beautiful and sheltered Praia do Spotted
Ideal for nature lovers, with a 100% nature framing of sea and vegetation and where you can enjoy watching the flight of birds, predominantly gulls, herons and swallows.
The OCEAN TERRACES FERRAGUDO apartment is also ideal for those wishing to discover the Algarve because its location is in the middle of the Algarve sea coast.

Ferragudo is a small fishing village in the Algarve situated on the Arade estuary in front of Portimão. Very picturesque, the village is well preserved in its origin and has cafes, ice cream parlors, restaurants, banks, post office, pharmacy, tobacconist and traditional commerce.

Moving from our house towards Ferragudo, you will find Forte de S. Joao do Arade (Ferragudo Castle)
The Fort of S. João do Arade separates Praia da Angrinha from Praia Grande de Ferragudo (very calm and where the Arade river meets the sea)
Ferragudo Grande Beach is 1000m long, has a blue flag car park, is very quiet and considered one of the best beaches for children in the Algarve. It is guarded by lifeguard with patrol vessel, lookout posts and guarded by the captaincy. With several restaurants and beach cafes, we recommend "A NAU" Restaurant and Bar and Kalu Beach Bar. Average water temperature in summer: 22º / Winter: 15º
During summer there is an inflatable park where children can have fun and there are also Kayaks for hire.

Very close but in the opposite direction, about 9km away is also the village of Carvoeiro. With lots of charm and tourism, Carvoeiro is very lively and visited by tourists all year round.

If you like movement and nightlife, head to Praia da Rocha Beach (around 8 km away) where you will find plenty of entertainment, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

We wish we had booked for me than 3 nights! We highly recommend staying here. The terrace and views were incredible. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely neighbors and lots to do in the area. A couple of great restaurants within a few minutes drive. Try the goose mollusks at Ferragudo Terrace!

Perfect location

Ferragudo is off the beaten path and is a lovely village from which travelers can take day trips east, west and north! The apartment met our needs perfectly. Would suggest instructions for washing machine and AC for us non-Europeans, but would totally book this apartment again!

The property is in a private location and had excellent views of the coast line. There was quick access to the beach. You’ll need to drive to/from any restaurants. The hot tub is mediocre and was a little dirty, but good communication with owner.

A great getaway

I very much enjoyed staying here in Ferragudo. Location was perfect. Not far from town where a number of outdoor restaurants are clustered and a few small grocery stores are located, or Portimao where larger supermarkets are. It was nice to be far enough away from these town areas to avoid population, but close enough to get supplies or eat out. The unit is perfect for getting away. It is in a nice complex that was easy to get to and was low-key with low noise. There is also a very good Moroccan themed restaurant in the facility complex within walking distance. The proximity to the beaches was ideal - about a 5-10 minute walk through cliff trails which take you to the beaches. The cliff views are spectacular, and the beaches are beyond description for beauty, size and location. The unit was very comfortable to stay at (I was solo), but I was there only a few days and didn't really have the opportunity or need to make extensive meals in the kitchen, although it is fully equipped to handle that for longer stays. It was very suitable for a small number of people to stay at comfortably for extended time. The outdoor deck has great views of the water as well, and for the sky at night (which was the best time to be on the deck). I plan on returning next year for a longer stay. Overall, it was great and I highly recommend!

Heerlijk uitzicht over de zee

Heel handig de sleutel in zo'n doosje met cijferslot. Prachtig terras. Gezellig ingericht huis. Keuken prima in orde. Allerlei benodigdheden voorradig. Enige minpuntje: douchen in bad met badgordijn. Heerlijke omgeving. Wij hebben iedere dag heerlijk gewandeld en daarna naar het strand geweest. We zijn dus niet veel in het huisje geweest, maar het was een heerlijke uitgangspositie.

Das Appartment hat alles gehalten, was bei FEWO-Direkt versprochen worden ist. Riesengroße Terrasse, Whirlpool, gutes Bett, liebevolle Einrichtung. Erst dachten wir, oh je, eine Terrassenanlage, aber später gefiel es uns ausnehmend gut. Ales ist da, sogar eine Waschmaschine, Stereoanlage mit Bluetooth. Ich konnte meine Sportify Musik hören. Das Appartment können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Auch unser Zwergschnauer Paul liebte das Haus.

Very nice view.

A bit difficult to find at first, but we managed. Home is very clean and there is everything you could need, except for toilet paper; only one roll was supplied. The bed was just ok, it was very firm. Three tiny flat as a pancake for two people? I had a neck ache every morning. The sheets were soft and the duvet kept us cozy on some very cold nights. Power is inadequate; we tripped the circuit breaker five times! While cooking we had on the heating and two lights and the breaker tripped! It was wonderful that a large selection of seasonings and other cooking essentials were provided! It makes cooking away from home very easy.

To be repeated...

We spent a few days in October in this nicely decorated and well equipped apartment. It’s not the newest one regarding the installation but everything was neat and clean and there was nothing really important to complain about despite of the electrical installation (the main fuse couldn’t stand cooking and the heating of the hot tub at the same time), the hot tub didn’t really get warm and the WiFi was not too fast and reliable but again, nothing really relevant. We think we will come back to enjoy the beautiful coast which is directly behind the garden. Thank you very much for hosting us!! Best regards, Ines and Georg

The Ferragudo area is a beautiful part of the Algarve and we enjoyed our stay very much. Having visited in the winter it's worth noting alot of restaurants are closed for the season . Because we arrived on a Sunday even the local resort restaurant Lux was closed. It's a perfect location for relaxing, enjoying the hot tub and having a few meals in.

This did not disappoint, wonderful accommodation in a lovely area.

We went there for my sons wedding and had never been to the area before. All the other guests stayed locally in the area and we attended a lot of social occasions whilst there. It was very hard to go to some of these though as our accommodation was so lovely and peaceful with stunning views. If I were to go back to the Algarve I would without doubt try to get this apartment again as it was so delightful.

Best view!

We loved staying here - it was spacious, comfortable and perfect for a few days. The deck is great with a nice view and a pretty walk to the lighthouse nearby. The town is nice for a stroll and a meal, and there are great hiking trails nearby. Paula was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and check in was easy. Thanks for a lovely stay Paula!

Tranquila, cómoda y terraza con vista espectacular

Alquilamos el apartamento por su situación y no nos equivocamos. A diez minutos a pie hay una playa muy bonita y todo el entorno esta bien cuidado. Hemos disfrutado mucho con el paisaje y pueblos del Alentejo y Algarve así como de nuesta estancia en el apartamento. ! Repetiremos !

Amazing holiday! Coming back for sure

Such a nice apartment, beautifully decorated and very tidy, I enjoyed it very much. The terrace and the view are fabulous, and the surrounding area is also incredibly beautiful. Very relaxing and quiet. The owner, Paula, was extremely helpful and provided excellent directions so getting there was quite easy. I surely recommend it, and will be back again soon.

The apartment has the most amazing views and everything you could wish for a relaxing holiday. It is well equipped and very clean and spacious. All areas are surrounded by beautiful gardens. The 2 nearest beaches are a short walk away ( just a few minutes) and Grande Beach is just 20 mins. All are lovely in different ways from Caneiros surrounded by rugged cliffs and Grande being a longer beach with several beach bars offering great food . Ferragudo is a really pretty place with a traditional square offering lots of resturants to suit all tastes. There are also plenty of places to eat nearer the apartment. We hired a car as we where there end of October to 8th of November so that we could tour around other places if we wanted too. Ferragudo is a special place with its pretty cobbled streets and the locals are so kind and friendly. Are favourite resturants are The Ferragood, O Barrill and the little Italian by the river. The Fishermans bar by the market is a lovely place to have a coffee or beer at very reasonable prices and to sit in the sun people watching and the fishermen repairing their nets . Thank you Paula. VERY NICE HOLIDAY

Very nice, very tidy...I enjoyed it very much. The terrace and the view are fabulous. Long long lazy days... Very relaxing and quiet. Sure I recomend it and I'll be back again.
