Great location, pool, common areas, events, etc. The reception area has signup sheets for daily hostel events and a few sightseeing trips they operate. There is a pub crawl every night, but it doesn’t seem to get too crazy. Overall, between the fun staff, events, and welcoming common areas there’s tons of opportunity to meet new people and have a good time.
This was the 2nd hostel I’ve ever stayed at and by far the best. My only criticisms are in the dorms. The bunk beds need to be more sturdy. The woman in the bunk above me was shaking her feet to her music, and it was a mini earthquake in the BOTTOM bed. If any of the staff are reading this, I recommend bolting the beds to the wall. The footlockers should be quieter when people just let the wooden door slam on the ground, or when they drag them out from under the bed. Rubber bumpers in the top corners of the doors and felt feet on the bottom of the lockers would help a lot. These were minor annoyances since I was able to get enough sleep, and I was trying to get up and out to see the sites.
