Lovely 2bd nestled in lush Hawaiian garden

Paki Maui 326 is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo located on the third floor with partial ocean views from your lanai and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, bringing natural light into the condo. The condo does not have air conditioning. The condo can accommodate up to 6 guests with a Queen bed in the master bedroom, a Queen bed in the guest bedroom, and a Queen sleeper sofa bed in the living room. The master ensuite bathroom is equipped with a large vanity space and a bathtub/shower combo. Off of the living room, you will find the updated guest bathroom featuring a tilted walk-in shower. For added convenience, a washer/dryer is included in the condo. Enjoy preparing meals at home with a fully equipped remodeled kitchen. Dine al fresco on the lanai with a dining table for 4 and the lush garden surrounding you. A dining table for 4 is equipped in the unit so you may enjoy the view from inside with large sliding doors and windows.

Paki Maui features an oceanfront pool, hot tub, BBQ grills with picnic areas, and a coin-operated laundry facility. There are no resort or parking fees at the resort. Paki Maui is a five-story oceanfront resort located on the West side of Maui between Ka'anapali and Kapalua areas. Paki Maui is in the neighborhood of Honokowai with shopping, restaurants, and beach rentals across the street. Within a short drive check out Whaler's Village Shopping Center where you can enjoy many dining options and entertainment. There are golf courses and putting greens available in Kaanapali and Kapalua.

Nice place with some caveats

The good: The apartment was recently renovated, it's clean, has the latest amenities, and is located minutes from stores and public beaches. The owner provided beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and even snorkeling equipment. The management is responsive (for the most part - see below). The bad: Noise! There is no A/C, so you will almost certainly sleep with windows open. People are moving in and out, walking past your bedroom windows talking loudly, and slamming doors day and night. Also, there are wild chickens everywhere with roosters crowing all night long. So, if you want a quiet place, look elsewhere. Another problem is that even though the management company is responsive during business hours, their after-hours support is virtually non-existent. We had an issue with the fire alarm in our unit going off 5 times in the middle of the night. I called the emergency support line and was promised that "a manager" would call me back right away. An hour later I called again and was told that "an on-call team" would get back to me but nobody did. Meanwhile, the alarm kept blasting. In the end, they contacted me after the office opened in the morning and sent an electrician to fix the issue. I was offered compensation for the troubles but having my family stay awake all night long listening to the fire alarm wasn't my idea of a dream vacation.

Fell Short of Expectations

I was initially disappointed with how dirty the unit was when we first arrived. The last thing I wanted to do was clean the unit just to be able to relax, but that is what we did for the first hour before settling in. The floor was disgusting, the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been touched in months. To top it off, the available cleaning supplies were less than ideal to use to clean. The bed frame in the master bedroom is broken, so my sleeping situation was uncomfortable for the stay. Our kids were disappointed because the hot tub was broken. I wouldn’t put this in the review, but the property manager said all owners have known for several months about the hot tub issue. This was not stated in the property description.

Fantastic location

This location was fantastic. Family oriented. No air conditioning and street noise was an issue because windows needed to be left open. Overall, the resort was in need of some repairs, like fixing the outdoor shower, stairs to the beach/water. Really enjoyed that there was a grass area with plenty of lounge chairs. The pool and BBQ area was excellent! Beautiful place to cook your family supper and watch the sunset. The condo itself had everything that you would need. Beds were comfortable and linens were nice. Pool towels were provided as well as 4 sets of scuba gear. (2 adult and 2 kids). The main bathroom shower door leaks like crazy as the shower head sprays directly on to it - have a big towel on the floor to sop up the water! Property management company was very attentive and communicated well.

balcony view of ocean and could see whales!

Loved staying here! Great location- private and away from crowds. First night was pretty warm even with fans but we opened balcony sliding glass doors and other windows and that made it nice the rest of the time. Turtles swam by the ocean front and we could see the humpback whale spouts from balcony and from ocean front. No beach sand but almost 180 degree view and Molokai is straight ahead too. Close to Kaanapali where a lot of tourists are and close to beautiful bays to the North like Napili and Kapalua Bays where we saw so many turtles.

Review

Clean and well appointed. Myperfectstays did an outstanding job addressing a plumbing issue. My one complaint was the awful noise for two days from a tree removal the Paki Maui complex failed to notify residents of. It was a disaster. Had we known how bad it was going to be, we would not have booked at this particular complex. However, the room was clean and great for the money.

The outside property itself is a little dated but the condo itself is amazing! Will definitely stay again. The condo owner and perfect stay were amazing hosts.
