Sensational Surhouse by the beach and pier

Sensational Surf is in the heart of Surfside, TX and is less than 5 minutes from beach. You can walk there early in the morning to fish on the beach where you can catch Redfish, speckles, Mackeral, etc. Perfect rental properties for the summer, weekend, holidays, or just to get away from the city life. Great place for families, esp with kids since the playground and jetty is 5 to 10 min walk away for more great fishing.

House is a 3 bedroom house with 2 Bathroom and 2 showers capable of sleeping 9 people. A queen bed in every room with some chest for clothes storage. There is a bunk bed in the third bedroom for kids. Another shower is available downstairs for you to rinse off the salt after returning from the beach. Because it is in a small town away from the city, the city water can get slightly yellow on rare occasions, esp. during and after a hurricane or topical storm. This is true for all vacation rental on the island. Best to bring drinking and cooking water. Thank you.

I am available throughout the days if you have any problem with the house or have any questions. I usually answered all questions within 5 to 10 minutes except when I am sleeping at night.

Great Customer Service

Place was as advertised. Microwave stopped working. We contacted owner and they had a replacement delivered and hooked up that evening. The area does not have the best water quality, but that’s no fault of the owner. Overall a great experience!

Budget Friendly and Comfortable

The house was clean and was in a good location. It was an easy walk or drive to the beach (with 7 kids, we drove and parked in the free parking area). It is a fishing town, so not many activities for kids, which was fine for us as we spent most of the time at the beach. We did visit the Sea Center (about 20 minutes away) and enjoyed that. The house is older but comfortable and clean. There weren't a lot of knick knacks which I liked because I didn't have to move things out of reach of my little children. We did have one of the bed frames break upon arrival that my husband made a temporary fix for. We informed the host so I am sure a permanent fix will be made. Other than that, it was a nice and seamless vacation. I would stay here again!

Close to the beach! Older Home.

Our stay was very pleasant. Close to the beach. Like a 2 min drive. It was 2 families with small children and there was plenty of room and dishes. Home is older and could use some work and new decor but overall it was a good stay with good communication! AC worked great too!

Great for family of 6

Great house for a large family. This was our first time getting a beach house and it met all of our expectations. It’s about 150 yards from the door to the beach. House was fully supplied with household essential. The only thing we bought was food. We would definitely choose the house for our next trip to this beach.

The beach house overall good! The beds were not as comfortable as I would've liked especially in the room with the mirrored closet, but I would stay there again for 3 nights. It was still very nice and clean!

The property has easy access to the beach. My kids could ride their bikes to and from with ease. The kitchen table is great for everyone to sit and talk. Bedrooms offered plenty of room. My boys loved the bunk beds. House was clean. Needs a little attention to detail. We would stay here again. Recommendations: Provide more than 4 coffee mugs. Organize silverware. There were no fork. Only plastic ware. The couch is peeling, so pieces of leather were flaking off and sticking to everything. We put a towel down over the seat section and that helped. Clean the side and top of the refrigerator. The tables on the front porch need a paint touch up on the base. The top is good but the base is peeling/flaking off. Hurts to step on. Clean and straighten up the furniture downstairs. We did not use the table downstairs or sit down there because it was so dirty.
