Our beautiful cedar log cabin home is nestled on 7.6 acres in a 100-acre gated community in the amazing Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Area and is very secluded, tranquil, and relaxing with the best year-round mountain views in all of Western North Carolina.

Our home is always your home away from home so we make ourselves available to our guests 24/7 to ensure that our guests have everything they need before and during their getaway with us. Our cabin even has a built in propane generator to automatically power the cabin in the event mountain weather affects local utility services during your stay. Our cabin is very family friendly and well-equipped with a plethora of children’s books and toys, as well as an audio/video baby monitor, baby gate, baby crib, and booster chair.

The "main level" of our beautiful cedar log cabin home features our (1) well-equipped kitchen; (2) island top with water pipe design pub stools; (3) large dining room table; (4) great room with a gas fireplace, reclining leather couch, reclining leather chair and a half, suede chair and a half, 65" Samsung SMART TV (2020 Model), Blu-Ray Disc Player with Wi-Fi (Full HD 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Playback), FREE YouTubeTV, vaulted ceilings, and gorgeous views; (5) beautifully furnished master bedroom with a king-sized bed, private full bath with two sinks and large shower, walk in closet, office chair and table (a monitor, scanner, and printer is also available upon request), suede chair, 50" Samsung SMART TV (2021 Model), Blu-Ray Disc Player with Wi-Fi (Full HD 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Playback), and FREE YouTubeTV; (6) half bath; and (7) four patio doors leading to the large deck with two covered gazebos, outdoor propane firepit with four chairs, Adirondack chairs, and propane grill.

The "lower level" of our beautiful cedar log cabin home features our (1) awesome game room including a virtual pinball machine with 417 tables, 60-1 classic arcade machine, pool/ping pong/disk hockey table, Foosball table, magnetic dart board, 50" Samsung SMART TV (2023 Model), FREE YouTubeTV, and rustic swivel bike stools; (2) amazing media room with 75" Samsung SMART TV (2021 model), FREE YouTubeTV, leather queen-size sleeper sofa, leather loveseat, oversized armchair with ottoman, and large ottoman bench (storing queen size linen, blanket, and pillows); (3) spacious and beautifully furnished bedroom with a king-sized bed, 43” Samsung SMART TV (2014 Model), Fire TV Stick, and FREE YouTubeTV; (4) full bath with shower with access to the bedroom and game room; (5) mud room with laundry machine and dryer, as well as drying rack; and (6) walk-out entrance to the lower level patio with picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and hammock.

The "upper level" of our beautiful cedar log cabin home features (1) an open loft sitting area with rustic railings, two armchairs, two foot stool ottomans, board games, 40" Samsung SMART TV (2015 Model), Fire TV Stick, and FREE YouTubeTV; (2) beautifully furnished and spacious bedroom with two full-sized beds; (3) beautifully furnished bedroom with two twin-sized beds; and (4) full bath with shower with access to the loft and bedrooms.

There is also a bonfire pit at the base of the back of our beautifully landscaped property with sitting stumps and a picnic table perfect for fellowship. So, kindle new and old friendships while making s'mores, as well as telling stories and singing songs, around the campfire and under the stars.

Our cabin also has a 1.14 cu. ft. low profile steel security safe with a hotel-style digital lock.

Our log cabin home features luxurious amenities throughout our spacious home; magnificent mountain views among the best in all of Western North Carolina; and access to amazing areas to explore, discover, and relax from Lake Lure to Chimney Rock to the Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway to Asheville to the Biltmore Estate to so much more. We are also blessed with awesome motorcycle roads and hiking/biking trails in this part of the country.

A Little Trivia: “Dirty Dancing” was filmed in Lake Lure! If you plan your visit in mid-September, you can take advantage of a Dirty Dancing highlight – the annual Dirty Dancing Festival in Lake Lure. Founded in 2010, a year after Patrick Swayze’s premature death and 23 years after the film debut, the Dirty Dancing Festival is a celebration of the inspiration, courage and love that Johnny and Baby instilled in legions of fans worldwide. Featuring live movie-inspired music and dancing, watermelon races, shag competitions, dance lessons, Kellerman’s Talent Show, a lakeside screening of the film and, of course, opportunities to attempt the famous lake lift, everyone comes to the Dirty Dancing Festival to “have the time of their life."

A Little More Trivia: Chimney Rock State Park is proud to have been one of the filming locations for the famous movie "Last of the Mohicans.” The iconic backdrop was shown in the last 20 minutes of the movie! The waterfall scene, the fight scene and bathing scene were all filmed at Chimney Rock State Park! If you are in the area be sure to stop in at Chimney Rock State Park, where you can stand at the base of the famous Hickory Nut Falls, the waterfall in the movie!

"Visit North Carolina" named Chimney Rock one of the best places for mountain hiking in all of North Carolina. Once you reach the peak of your Chimney Rock hike, you will enjoy wonderful 360-degree views - and - if you look carefully, you might even be able to see our cabin!

When you head back to our cabin to relax on our upper and lower decks and enjoy the spectacular mountain views, you will even see Chimney Rock. And you will love the luxurious amenities featured throughout our spacious log cabin home.

While your security is important to us, absolutely no surveillance devices are ever used inside the property. Nor are any surveillance devices ever used outside the property during your stay with us. To the contrary, all outdoor surveillance devices are deactivated during your stay. For security purposes only and only when no guests are at our cabin (especially due to the secluded location of our cabin), surveillance devices such as SMART doorbells and cameras are used outside the cabin and face away from the cabin. There are SMART doorbells on both the front and back doors (facing outside of the cabin) - again, these devices are not active during your stay with us (note that the devices light up when they are active). There are also SMART overhead cameras outside each entrance (facing outside of the cabin) - again, these devices are not active during your stay with us (note that the devices light up when they are active). Even if any security devices were active during your stay - which they are not - no camera is located in any area where guests have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Please note that all hosts are required by Vrbo/HomeAway to disclose their security systems on property descriptions.
