Great property. We were there just for a weekend bike race in Hastings, but believe it would also be a fantastic summer getaway at the lake. House was clean and well furnished. Owners provided lots of little touches, showing their passion for their property and their guests. Would recommend.

Our summer visit was so nice we came back for Christmas with family! Everyone enjoyed the location, the hot tub, and the cottage. It is hard to find a house that accomodates a group in all rooms. The dining area seated all of us as did the spacious living area.The best surprise...all the water fowl on the lake! So beautiful!

This was our very first family vacation ever and I wanted it to be one of the most memorable ones. Jason’s paradise cottage and the beautiful city of Lake Odessa with its wonderful people made sure that dream came true!!! If a cottage with LITERALLY every detail covered is what you are looking for this is the one. Only three cottages away from beach, huge sports bar & grill behind it with bowling alley and quaint town with all the offerings within walking distance. We WILL BE BACK!!!!

The cottage is so clean! The indoor and outdoor spaces are so well done.Our boys used the pedal boat for fishing, my husband and I kayaked and swam in the lake. We are runners and ran to the trail that goes up to the high school and around the track. We also drove to the trail in Ionia and ran there. We bought local produce at Denny’s Farm.It was fun walking to the downtown to the grocery store, antique stores, coffee shop and restaurants. Our daughter played pickle ball with friends at the courts nearby.It’s just a great place!

Something for everyone!

We booked this beach cottage for our 4 adult kids and their partners and what a find! This host thought of everything! From room fans to cleanliness this place stands out. With different preferences of what to do, it was great to have so many options available. The lake access with paddle boards, paddle boat and kayaks, the HUGE deck with hot tub, fishing, antique shops and restaurants we couldn't go wrong. The inside of the cottage is so spacious and comfortable we found ourselves relaxing inside as well. What a wonderful weekend experience!

Perfect location and super clean!

House was immaculate, backyard had everything you need (super clean grill, comfy lounge chairs, fire pit, and hot tub) for fun and relaxation! Great fishing off the boat slip in the back too. Have had issues with old pots/pans in previous rentals, but these were all in excellent condition. Huge plus when you have a family and will be making some meals at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone, zero complaints!

Beautiful lake cottage with amazing outdoor space

This owner really knows how to VRBO. Had a great stay in July. We fished, swam, played pickle ball, went kayaking and paddle boarding. My college and high school age sons went fishing from the peddle boat as well as the dock. They caught bass, perch and carp. We are runners and ran the to Jordan Lake trail from the cottage as well as the Grand River Valley trail from the trailhead in Ionia- a 23 minute drive. We walked downtown to the bakery, grocery store and restaurants. The cottage is very clean and uses the spaces well. The hot tub is clean and well maintained.

Relax with Family

We were surprised with how nice the property was. The deck is the perfect place to relax and catch up with family. The hot tub is an added bonus. Everything we needed was just a short walk away (Parks, Bakery, Restaurant). The host is responsive and provided several unexpected perks. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

As soon as you walk into this sweet cottage and see the lake view and spacious deck, you start to relax and know that you will have a great time on Jordan Lake. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and paddle boat. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for a sleepover with cousins. We will definitely be back when in the area visiting family!

Great lakefront cottage

We had an excellent stay here- the description and photos are accurate and the overall process went really smoothly. I wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the water more, but we will definitely consider staying here again during the summer!

I can’t say enough great things about this cottage

A group of 4 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs stayed at this beach cottage. The host was amazing. He really thinks of it all. The little details were appreciated and well thought out. The cottage has everything you need. Weather wasn’t the best but the hot tub and view made up for it. Shower was great. Beds were comfortable. Loved having fans and sound machines. Location is perfect. Close to so many things. Buddy’s was great to have next door. Food was good. The downtown was cute. Loved the bakery (best donuts ever), Terry’s, the library, parks, the list goes on. It’s so comforting coming into a clean cottage. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Would definitely come back in the future.

They Thought of Everything

The pictures don't do it justice. We were very impressed. All the little touches were great. We really appreciated the maple syrup on the table when we walked in. Loved the house and all the comfy-ness of it! We needed some R & R and we got it. Loved the suggestions on the chalkboard of where to shop and where to eat. Lovely town, good shopping and good restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

Lake house

This house worked perfectly for my family. My mom is elderly and had no issues navigating through the house. The outside area is set up to perfection with cute little conversation areas. The owner had nice touches throughout the house to make it feel welcoming. We will be staying again for sure!!

Weekend getaway

Overall, very enjoyable. Lots of amenities and things to do. Only criticism was yard was fairly overgrown, lots of cobwebs on dock. Neighbors were very close. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and sitting on the deck.

Great time

Love the summer house. Lake is warm and shallow so I don’t have to worry about the grandkids. Fun hot tub. Close to town (shopping) and restaurants. Our second year here and the kids want to know if we’re coming next year.

Lake Odessa Beach Cottage = Perfect!!

We had such a superb vacation at the Lake Odessa Beach Cottage! Jason was great to work with, and the property was perfect! Everything - from the lake views, the town, the hot tub, and the cottage itself to the information book, easy check-in and out procedure, fully stocked supplies, and the lovely welcome basket - was wonderful!
