Loved the location and great fun amenities. From the pool to the DJ bar outside it was perfect. Everything was easy access to walk from the gondola to ski , restaurants, entertainment, the pool. Great fun with margarita night kids movies at the pool. great food and lots of fun.

Staff was great, location was very convenient. Only downside was the parking. Difficult to find self parking so you will likely need to pay the $35 valet parking per day fee.

First off someone should take the time and update their website.Rooms clearly have no washer and dryer yet their page advertise those amenities, even kitchen facilities (it's more like 2 microwaves, that's all) You have to go all the way to the front desk to find utensils.Room is not that clean, You can clearly see that the tub and the sink were not cleaned properly,there's mold. If these rooms are cleaned daily, they definitely don't look like it. There is NO Lock or Screen on the windows.The Lobby/hotel is extremely hot inside.BEWARE if you do the late check out. The Key will Lock at 11am.NO ONE told me when I checked in, So the day of check out I walked all the way to my room with my kids to walk all the way back to the front to catch an attitude from the receptionist as if i had inconvenience her by telling her that they should warn customers because that was a long walk and for someone who has a health issue its super annoying and would have been avoided if I was told beforehand. Valet Customer Service was great till Check out day.BEWARE of the skinny older lady with glasses that works there, She looks like she's miserable. Plus, she Violent, She decided to throw my keys on the counter at me when i had asked for them nicely. She definitely did not like me calling her out for her rude behavior.I was called a vulgar word & I had security called on me. Tapes were reviewed; she got sent home. Definitely not the experience I was looking for,especially for the money I spent

Not Worth It

The service was terrible at every level. They did not service the room even after I requested this twice. The food prices are very expensive, even for Lake Tahoe. The gym was unreasonably small for a resort of this size.

The room was tidy and well-designed. The service was quick and excellent. However, the water pressure in the shower is excessively low, nearly dripping, and it took me a long time to clean the soap off my hair and body; they could consider using a smaller shower head to boost the water pressure. The body wash was too liquid, like water.

No wash cloths were left for us, mattress wasn’t comfortable, it was worn. Restaurants close at 10pm including room service. Valet parking only $35 Room had no hooks anywhere in the bathroom. No counter space It was just Ok.

Margaritaville is a great place to stay with a group. There is a beautiful area to meet with everyone and a very nice bar. We ate ar the landshark bar and grill. It was great for kids and my Nashville fried chicken sandwich was really good. The buffet had lots of choices, very clean. The rooms are large, with a small frig. Great shower, bed and towels. There are lots of channels on the tv. Checking out on a Sunday could be crazy slow but they had so many valets, it took only 5 minutes to get our car. We have stayed at many places in Lake Tahoe and this is our new favorite.

Great for families

We’ve been coming to Margaritaville for years because after our first trip the kids couldn’t stop talking about it. They really like the breakfast buffet, the cool vibes of the lobby, and the pool area. Us adults dig the live music and the convenience this hotel offers (coffee bar downstairs, only a few blocks to the gondola). The two queen suite is great for families. And the showers are nice and piping hot with good pressure- perfect to unwind after a day on the slopes!
