• This home is located in the famous Tahoe forest. Trees abound!!! Sledding on the property is therefore at your own risk--we urge our guests to use reasonable caution and wear protective gear. In the winter, please stay clear of icicles that may form on the house perimeter.

Aaron was very responsive and made the trip very easy from start to finish, He sent detailed instructions for check in, ahead of time, which made getting into the property a breeze. Upon entering the house, we were greeted by sweeping views and a squeaky clean house. The floor plan is well laid out and the 5 beds/ 4 baths is perfect for large groups or families. Family reunion

4 Butt Kitchen is very well stocked. Lots of kitchen towels and good quality cookware.Great space for kids away from the adult area Parking in garage and driveway is mostly flat and was big enough for our full sized truck in the garage. Did not use the pool facilities but they were only 2 miles away and very clean. Bring you electric bikes and lake toys. Donner Lake is only 15 minutes away and clean and clear! Unlimited Hiking and 10 minutes to Truckee. Bring as much food as you can from home. GAS & GROCERIES OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE

Wonderful home in Tahoe Donner!

I stayed at the Daru family cabin for a week with my extended family. We had 12 people in total, ranging from 4 to 77 y/o. We found the cabin to be thoughtfully planned. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were expertly laid out so each family unit could have their own space. The living areas separated the sleeping/bathroom areas, allowing for restful sleep and comfortable space. The kitchen was huge, allowing for prep work to happen simultaneously. Family breakfasts and dinners were enjoyed on the large table. We found the port-a-crib, it's sheets, and baby gate to be especially important to keep our youngest family member safe. The ample entry way, bench, and shoe store area allowed for a organized comings and goings. Everyone in the family commented how "perfect" the home was for us. Comfy beds, ceiling fans, huge TVs, and large tables allowed for gaming fun. We hope to stay at Daru family again next year! It was the perfect location for trips to Donner Lake, old town Truckee, Kings Beach in Tahoe, and numerous hikes in the forest. Aaron was a gracious host and provided swift and accurate information for any questions. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Truckee home with us. We hope to return soon.

Tahoe Golf

We stayed here so four guys who have been taking golf vacations for 40 years could enjoy the Tahoe golf offerings. We played four courses, all very close, so the house was a perfect location. Plenty of room so each guy had a room and a bathroom. Communication with the owner was spot on and everything worked great.

Family Ski Trip

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) and we all agreed we hope we can stay there again next year! We’ve rented many Tahoe/Truckee cabins over the years and have never felt so impressed from the minute we walked in the door. The home is immaculately clean, tastefully furnished, with every possible amenity (beautiful chef’s kitchen, plenty of extra towels/linens). It has the perfect layout for a big family to spread out. The kids loved the bunkroom and den with foosball table. The beds were comfortable with high end linens, which was very appreciated. We all had so much fun and made great memories. Great family snow trip

We were three families with five kids ranging in age from almost 13 to turning 3 during our trip. We sledded in the back yard, dug snow caves in the front yard, had an epic snowball fight, played board games, baked birthday cupcakes, and generally had a perfect vacation. Kitchen is well-stocked, check-out chores were minimal, and location was super convenient. Thank you Aaron for a great vacation!

Golf getaway

We had 4 couples, most of whom played golf, visit this wonderful Tahoe Donner property. Besides the beauty of the Tahoe area, several great courses are very close and the amenities offered at this home can't be beat. It's tough to find a place that can accommodate 8 adults and give each of them a bit of personal space too. This home filled the bill. And to top it off, the owner was great also.

Wonderful Family Time

We do enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin with the Tesla charger. We did a lot of outdoor activities like biking, hiking, kayaking, but also had great family time at the house. The kitchen is amazing with great pots and pans. The bedrooms were comfy. The house was spacious and the host extremely responsive.

Wonderful Home

We really enjoyed staying in this home. It had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with amazing appliances. The rooms were spacious and everyone had a comfortable bed. It had two family areas with televisions and space for all to gather. We loved the expandable table allowing our big family to eat together. Beautiful deck overlooking tall trees. The deck was huge. House was very clean! It had a electric charging unit in the garage which we didn't use but a great addition to the home. Loved working with Aaron. He was an amazing host. Recommend this home to everyone
