This was our second time staying, and still loved it. Can’t beat having a garage to store snowboards, and beach gear. The big back yard was perfect to admire the birds and play with our dogs. We even took up frisbee golf. Can’t wait to be back!

Great for the pets. Clean. Good location to Basecamp and events at Casino hotels. House was a 2 bedroom one bath that had converted half of the garage into another bedroom/ bath/ laundry. That area of the house had no central heat. Only a very noisy space heater. The couple that slept in that room did not sleep well. Living area could have used at least one easy chair to sit in.

Great location. Very clean and well kept. Well stocked. Wonderful pet friendly accommodation. Great front and backyard for my dog. Received over 3 inches of snow the first night. Great stay for family and dog!

Our stay was incredible thanks to the amazing hosts! The place was clean, well stocked and even had additional supplies for our lab! He probably had the best time with the yard! The location was FANTASTIC! And the hosts recommend a few places to try that were walking distance. I would highly recommend this place to any family wishing to enjoy South Lake Tahoe, especially with a pup!

Close to everything, quiet neighborhood with a large yard. Lots of details to make it very dog friendly (blankets, bowls, and even a chuck it). Air conditioner helped keep the home cool.

Perfect Tahoe Stay for Our Family (including pets!)

It is so hard to find a truly pet friendly rental, but this was perfect, absolutely pet friendly. They provided blankets to use for the dogs, a dog bed, potty bags, and dog toys. The backyard is very large and perfect to play fetch. They even had corn hole and disc golf for the humans to play. My husband said the grill was kept in good condition and had all the supplies to have a great grill session. Inside was also well stocked with the basics for food prep. There was a desk for drawing and even had a good selection of games for after dinner. Bathrooms also well stocked and did not need to buy any supplies. Towels were soft and plentiful. The three bedrooms were perfect and the beds were pretty comfortable. Location was way better than we imagined. We brought our electric bikes and could get anywhere in South Lake without having to drive. We went to Riva within minutes using bike trails, we took them to Nevada beach and Roundhill beach and didn't have to worry about parking. And because it was on bike trails, we weren't worried about traffic congestion either. We loved our stay and look forward to staying again during our next Tahoe trip!

Tahoe get away

This was a great place to stay with my spouse and pups, the backyard was huge, fenced in. The kitchen had everything to make a meal, and the outside grill came in handy too. You can’t beat the proximity to stagecoach lift if you’re snowboarder or skier. Also there was a really great bagel place close by for. Quick breakfast. We can’t wait to come back.

Disappointing experience and poor communication

We never made it to the property but I had to include stars to submit my comments so honestly I couldn’t rate appropriately other than my communication rating. Unfortunately, my family and I are very disappointed in this experience for the property. My entire family (3 yo/5yo and 75yo mother) came down with the flu prior to when we were supposed to go up to this property for the kids Winter Break. We were all so excited and when I discovered we all had fevers of 103+ I immediately notified the property management company in hopes we could check in a day or so late. They accommodated that with no issues but noted no refund for those days b/c of cancellation policy. By our check in day, I knew we would not be able to travel so I reached out again to the property management company to inquire what I can do. They offered to reach out to the property owners to inquire if they would be willing to move our dates even with an additional fee, that would have been ok. They said the owners would respond within 24-48hrs and they would call me back as soon as they heard from them. I never got a call back so I contacted them again within 48 hours and they said they were still waiting for a response but they would get back to me. I never got a response. I even reached out to my local contact via text message and did not get a response either. I just called back on 1/3 to follow up and they told me they got a response on 12/29 from the owners saying they were not willing to accommodate any kind of change and that was the final decision. If the property management company would have called me as soon as they got that info, I may have tried to get someone to come out and use the reservation rather than just lose $5K. Yes, it’s my fault I did not purchase travel insurance but I still had 2 days left on my reservation when they knew the owners were not willing to accommodate anything. It would have been great to have the option of all of the info to try and get even one of us to use the property. Just be warned, this property management company is not as responsive as they promise to be and the owners are not sympathetic to any circumstances during these times of Covid/major flus if you didn’t get travel insurance. If we went, we would have spent the entire time leaving flu/pneumonia germs in their property. I’m sure the next renters would have appreciated my decision to keep our germs to ourselves.

My friends and I had a lovely stay here with our 3 pups, who loved the huge yard. Just a 20-30 minute stroll to the beautiful Nevada state beach and a quick drive to the center of Heavenly Village. My only complaint would have to be the weak shower pressure and wonky temperatures of both bathrooms, but all in all, we had a wonderful time.

Property was comfortable nice for our dogs, lack of cleaning supplies ie for the kitchen after cooking, ceiling fan needs cleaning, the 3 red bedroom off the garage has no heating very cold in the winter. Overall nice place and in a quiet neighborhood

Great dog-friendly house

Charming house with a large fenced backyard; perfect for our two pooches. Ideal location as it was close to Fjeldheim, where our friends were getting married. Also very close to all the action in South Lake.
