Thoughtful things.

You can tell when management does a good job. That was evident here at The Lodge. There were quite a few nice conveniences that you don't normally find in a hotel. Great suite for my 4 day stay. No complaints ! Thank You.

I wanted a homey , quiet , low key atmosphere that has the basics . The Lodge was that place . It was clean & accessible to all the places I want to visit ; walkable. The extra was the close encounter with the bear by the pool. The bear saw us before we saw him; it was an unexpected surprise. Horrifying at first then it became the highlight of our stay! Now we have a story to tell!

I hated this place it was nothing like the pictures beware the tv has no cable no ac no clock that worked it was just horrible place the walls were like paper thin the windows didnt open in the bedroom it was stuffy and warm it just didnt look at all like the pictures . dont stay there you will be sorry parking is unsafe its in the back of the building no soda machines or snacks machines sorry people i had to tell you this !!

The Lodge has spacious rooms that are cozy and welcoming. We had a bedroom suite with a very comfortable bed and a pullout sofa in the living room. It came with a full kitchen and simple dishwares. It has mountain log furniture and a quaint cabin feel. The grounds are lovely with a nice size lawn and an out door bbq and dining area. Staff was freindly and easy going. We will return again. Thank you!

What a great place to stay! Loved the property it was so beautiful and well kept! The grounds were beautiful like a park and the pool was so nice! Perfect temperature and so clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room itself was so clean and well set up it had everything we needed for our stay. The location it self was great a short walk to the beach or you could walk to heavenly village. We will be back for sure!

This is a reasonably priced nice place to stay at South Lake Tahoe. The room had a kitchenette and a couch with the bedroom being separate. Instructions about their limited office hours were not obvious on the Expedia website so we got there at 9pm and the office was closed. There is a phone number on a lock box which we called to get our room key. Also if you check out before 8am you have to make early arrangements to return key. My only other complaint was that the bed was rather hard. But, really overall this is a great place to stay and I would stay there again.

The unit was very roomy. If you like to cook, it has what you need. The pool and hot tub were quite nice. Bring a drying rack for wet bathing suits towels Etc.
