The views from the main living area are amazing! Kitchen was well stocked and main living area was perfect for our family. Lower two levels of the house are outdated - carpet was very dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Radiant floor heating did not keep up for the lowest level during our stay even with the door closed all day and night the temperature was 53 degrees. Made the basement bedroom unusable for two nights of our stay as it was so cold. If going in the winter AWD is a must! Host was very responsive during our stay.

Great location minutes from South Lake Tahoe

Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. It is older and could use some TLC, especially the lower floors. The carpet on 2 lower floors needs to be replaced. The oven couldn’t be used because it smoked and caused the smoke detectors to go off; and the vent wasn’t working. The outside areas lacked seating. We still had a good time. Lake Tahoe didn’t disappoint.

Great location to ski Heavenly

Stayed late January of 2025. House is 9 minutes from the stagecoach lift of Heavenly. Plenty of room (five guys, everyone had their own bedroom) with beds to spare. Amazing view, wake up each day with the sun coming over the mountains. Quiet neighborhood, but make sure you have a vehicle that can handle some snow. But if you are there to ski you will probably have that anyway. Communication with owner was great, would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great Time!

Lovely home with great view. Perfect for family reunion. Kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed back balcony with fire pit and all enjoyed the hot tub. Couldn't have been better.

Great home for skiing

We had a great experience staying here with 2 families skiing at heavenly. The host responded quickly to all our questions and the home is comfortable, beautiful and exactly as described. We arrived the last day of a 3 day storm that dumped 5 ft of snow and the host had the driveway open and confirmed the neighborhood roads were open before we drove up. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property

Amazing location in south lake tahoe just minutes away from heavenly. The house is great, for a large group of people. The house was very complete and super cozy. Super fast response from the owner. Totally would stay another time in this property.

Beautiful setting

What a beautiful setting with great views! It is also an excellent home for a large group and is a short drive to Heavenly mountain for skiing and the towns of Zephyr Cove and South Lake Tahoe. We found the host most responsive and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

Holiday Family Getaway

We loved the views and location. The kids were able to sled in the very private hillside (backyard). It’s a very quiet neighborhood, however, if it’s snowing, you should have 4 wheel drive. The dining table was perfect for family dinners and games. The home feels very spacious for 8 adults. The downstairs bunkbed room was great for the kids to have their own space, however, the bunkbeds might be more suitable for younger children. They are very wobbly and the top bunk is really close to the bottom bunk. The carpets (and a few decorative pillows on the beds) need a good cleaning, but considering it’s pet friendly and snow shoes etc., it’s fine. There were small things that needed fixing, but nothing that would deter us from renting again. You just can’t beat the views!

Beautiful house with lot of amenities

The house has awesome view with lot of amenities. Our kids enjoyed pool table and hot tub. There are plenty of cookware and kitchenware for big party. We had fun experience during our stay. The owner was very reachable and quick response whenever we had questions or requests. Highly recommended this house

Nice house in a good location, that's it.

Pros. Nice house (clean, enough rooms) Great location Cons. Zero AC, not even fans had to go buy our own. Last minute notice about construction being done to the house left the lower deck unavailable to us and left the driveway unavailable to us as well. No soap or shampoo in any of the bathrooms (again had to go buy our own)

Graet location, not far from south lake where all the stores are, nice locking from the deck and over all I like a house that has everything in the kitchen plate, knife, spoons, spices, a good oven to cook and a big table where everyone can seat and talk I really enjoy this house.

Beautiful view out kitchen and living room windows

We had a good time during our stay. The owner, Paul, was very responsive with any questions we had. The view was nice and you see nothing but trees out the back windows and deck..as far as your eyes can see. It's a pretty private location.

Ski getaway for a group of 14 people

My group reserved this property for our annual ski trip. Excellent location, close to Heavenly! Owner was easy to reach by phone and very accommodating. Driveway and garage is a little tight but it does fit four cars. If you do not have four-wheel drive vehicles and will be driving in the winter, just be aware that the neighborhoods leading up to the property can be hilly. Kitchen is very well-equipped, we loved the spacious living room and dining area, and the hot tub has a lovely view. We would definitely rent this property again!

Beautiful home for our large group

Thirteen of us had a fantastic weekend at Paul's home. We had plenty of beds, a well-stocked kitchen where we cooked meals, a large dining table, and comfortable living room to relax in. Other great amenities included: - hot tub on the deck perfect for star gazing - large deck with beautiful sunrise views - 5 minute drive to Heavenly ski resort (Nevada side) - incredibly responsive host Our only complaint was that the heating did not seem to be fully functional. The downstairs rooms were chilly and the Nest thermostats didn't seem to help, but there were enough space heaters to keep us warm.
