A wonderful house and quiet retreat

This was the second time we have stayed at the house. We take a family vacation every summer and this is the first time we have returned to a house and city because we loved it so much. The hosts are wonderful and responsive, there are lots of little touches to make the time spent more pleasant. We hope to go back every year and enjoy the Eason’s hospitality.

Perfect for Families!

Comfortably accommodated four adults and four kids (9-11yrs). The lake access, dock, rope swing and boats were a huge plus for all of us! We enjoyed playing in the water as much as we did gazing at its beauty from the house. Close to Brevard, but secluded too. Highly recommend! We loved it.

Beautiful Cabin!

Cabin was very well decorated. Loved the pine beams and floors. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes, utensils, etc. Living room was nice with cozy sofa and two soft chairs. Loved the rain shower! Lots of great views of the lake. Steps to the lake were a bit tricky in the rain but provided walking sticks helped. Caught a nice bass off the dock. Wanted to use canoe but it rained a lot while we were there. A huge shout out to the Easons for the warning of hurricane Hellene. We left two days early on Thursday ahead of the disaster. We will definitely be back!

Loved our Mountain Time

This property is in a great location with access to Cashiers, Highlands, Blue Ridge Parkway. The property is nestled on a small lake with dock, beautiful patio area where you can enjoy a fire, views, and the water. The house is lovely, spacious, yet cozy, with ample rooms/beds for family. Everything was well stocked, the owners are wonderful to work with. Great stay at Thanksgiving Lidgr!

Beautiful cabin

Lovely and spacious cabin on a quiet lake. The owner has really taken a lot of time to make thier guest feel like they are at home away from home. Everything plus more was provided for our stay. We were able to relax and enjoy time with our family. Our boys loved fishing. We will book again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful mountain get away

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The home is beautiful and comfortable . The views are amazing! Loved fishing from the dock and using the paddle boat:) We definitely want to come back.

Perfect Home away from Home

Truly enjoyed the Thanksgiving Home... the furniture and the layout is perfect for a family. Everyone had their own space and I just loved sitting at the table in the morning sipping tea and looking out over the small lake. My 5 year old granddaughter loved the paddle boat and jumping off the dock. We explored the many waterfalls in the area. We also had smores a few evenings by the lake. Great host...always quick to reply. Thank you.

Grateful for our stay at Thanksgiving Lodge

What an amazing lake house! Our family stayed for an entire week and loved every minute of it. Between the paddle boat, canoe and rope swing, our kiddos were in heaven. Sitting around the outdoor fire pit roasting marshmallows and listening to music while overlooking the lake was just pure bliss. Not to mention all the activities, waterfalls and hiking trails in the surrounding area. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Thanksgiving Lodge. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Eason!
