Pleasantly surprised

This is a well-maintained property located in quaint subdivision on the Southside of Lakeland. The interior exceeded expectations because it was more of a home than just a house. The kitchen pantry was fully stocked with seasoning, and everything needed to cook. The children loved the pool which had foam noodles, goggles, and pool toys. There is also a pool table in the livingroom which was a hit!The only downside was not receiving timely replies to my questions. If you're ok with waiting a week or two to hear from the owner, then this is a great place for a family and friends!

The place was clean and orderly but definitely older. The kitchen lacked the bare essentials so it made it hard to cook anything. I did reach out to the host and never received any response, even days later there had been no response, nor apology for not getting back to me, etc.

Disappointed in pool

The house itself was very clean and met our expectations. Unfortunately, the main reason we booked this location was for the pool. When we got there, the pool filter had clearly not been running. The water level was too low for the filter to run. I contacted the owner the first day through the app, and the second day by phone call. She finally responded the second night stating that she contacted the pool technician and they would be there the next day. They were not there the next day. The pool was not filtering the entirety of our four night stay. We would definitely have stayed there again if it wasn't for the issue with the pool...it had me questioning how truthful she was being with me and I worried about the safety of my kids in the water, not knowing how long the water had not been taken care of.

The house was as advertised. Since it had been sold and sale closed while we were there we were asked to allow access for inspection and etc. There were also a couple things missing like kitchen towels and a pizza pan that would have been nice to have. Everything else was great.

Our stay was good, we had a great time in the pool and the AC was on point as it was a little warm out during our stay. The house was clean and close to many dining options and frozen custard. We enjoyed the pool table but do wish there would have been come chalk for the cues. We would stay again.

Sun N Fun week

My group was down for the week to attend Sun N Fun. We found the house had plenty of room for the 4 of us, it was clean and close to the airport. If I am back in the area for Sun N Fun next year I would look at renting it again.

Nice Central FL location

Stayed here as part of a family “boys trip” with my brother, nephew, and two oldest sons. We chose Lakeland as sort of a central location for activities throughout the week including 4 state parks, a fishing day, and the Orlando area theme park. Not the closest, but perfect for hopping to different destinations. The house was a specious ranch layout, everyone had plenty of room. And the pool, billiards table, and dart board gave plenty of downtime activities while at the house. Checkout was a breeze with only taking out the trash as the only instruction. Would stay again when in the area.

Lovely Lakeland Home

We would stay again. The house set up was perfect for what we needed, which was to "work from home" and play on weekends. We enjoyed the pool table and the screened in porch/pool area. There were some minor issues and we contacted owner who responded timely and addressed. One issue is the grille was very old and the bottom was rusted out, so Elena delivered a brand new grille during our stay. Minor suggestions would be to include more detailed welcome instructions. There was a note on a white board that provided wifi info and trash day, but it would have been helpful to know lawn mowing days and pool service days. The light switches are very confusion and many were not labeled. Some appeared to do nothing. I used painter's tape to label as many as I could once I found out what they did. As another review states, the grass in the yard does have the little seeds that get stuck in dogs' fur, so it's a pain, but not a deal breaker and there's not much you can do about that. The latch on the gate in the backyard was broken so we put a brick in front of it to keep it closed. If you have larger dogs that might not work. There was a big gap in the fence where the corners meet as well so we filled it in with things we found around the yard to keep our dogs safe. The house was clean, great size, and excellent location convenient to everything. We look forward to going back!

Loved the home. Very clean. The outside pool area was great. We spent most of our time outside when we were at the house. The biggest challenge was having only one bathroom outside of the bathroom in the master bedroom if someone was sleeping in there but we made it work with the 4 of us.

We stayed here for a few nights as we closed on our house in Lakeland and a few days after before we drove out of state to our new home. The house is nice for what we needed and the owners were very accommodating in allowing us to let our dogs stay there. However the grass in the front and back was very over grown. The dogs kept getting little grass seeds stuck to their feet, legs and belly. There are many light switches that just seem to be a dud. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on lamps by bed nor a plug to charge phones by the bed. Many light switches were just in random spots. There was no remote to be found for the living room tv which was annoying. The master bathroom long hair in it and around the drain so the property wasn’t cleaned very well. Screened in patio and pool area was nice. There weren’t any check in or checkout instructions on the app not found in the house.

Hurricane escape

Elena was very nice and understanding as we were escaping Tampa during the last hurricane scare. House was roomy, comfortable furniture and the pool table was a big hit!! Also a great yard for my dogs, but the gate latch was not secure.
