Nestled in oak trees this property features stylish decoration and a superb experience. Next to the Pinery Provincial Park, 2 mins walk to the Ausable River Channel and about 15 min walk to the private beach.

Love to cook? A well equipped kitchen awaits you! Bake some cookies or create and bake your own pizza with the Grand Children. Use the kitchen equipment to make some waffles and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice using the available artisan citrus juicer. Or enjoy a quick cup of coffee or tea.

The basement is at Arcade level. Choose from watching the game or a movie on the 75" flat screen, a foosball match, an arcade basketball competition, several board games, or a match on different versions of Arcade Street Fighter!

We provide smoke detectors, CO2 detectors and cameras around the property perimeter for your peace of mind. Deep cleaning is at the top of our priorities.

Summer holiday

The house was very clean. Nice big back deck for eating and BBQ. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach but you can also drive to GB or the Pinery. Lots of games in the basement

The place is beautiful. Everything is wonderful. The description about the private beach is a little off though that’s the only thing we were disappointed because Grant Ben is way too busy more like a half hour walk and a hike if you wanna have some cocktails and go down to the beach. All in all, it was a great stay!!

Great family and friends getaway

Our family and friends had a great vacation. The cottage had everything we needed and the games/bikes/beach chairs etc were all in great condition. Mauricio was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. The beach was amazing. Highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect getaway spot

This was the perfect location for our family and friend getaway. The home has everything that you could need to entertain and have a fun filled time. Lots of things to do in the house and outside. With just a short walk to the private beach to Lake Huron you can take walks along the shore or jump in the waves or look down and see your toes on a calm day. The hosts are wonderful and were extremely attentive to any requests and checked in to make sure things were running smoothly. We will definitely be renting here again.

Fantastic stay

We had an amazing time staying at Acorn Hills this weekend. The care and attention to detail by the hosts is evident from the moment you walk in the door. Everything was clean, there was everything we needed and the personal touches really made it feel homey. The only feedback we have was to make sure you bring your own tea towels for the kitchen and maybe a sheet pan if needed, legitimately everything else was there! We are absolutely planning on booking again and coming back, hopefully for years to come!

Group of childhood friends

This was our second year of reconnecting with a group of childhood friends. 6 of us spent the weekend enjoying this great home while reminiscing of our childhoods and growing up together. We had a bonfire, barbecued, played cards and shoot pool all weekend. The home was the perfect place to reconnect with life-long buddies. Looking forward to next year!

Grand Bend Family Retreat!!!!!

From my very first communication to the final Goodbye and Thank you, The Host Mr. Bravo made sure that every detail of his property was on point and as described. His Property is an absolute gem. From the second we opened the door, you could tell the Home had been cleaned and readied for my Family's arrival!! It smelled fresh and was spotless! A very thoughtful welcome gift bag was waiting for myself and Family, along with a personalized letter welcoming us to his Property. Very Classy indeed! Everything was just fantastic at Acorn Hills, to ensure a great week long visit to Grand Bend. Location was perfect for us, 6 minute drive to the main strip, if we wanted that. Grocery and restaurants even closer than that, for every convenience necessary for a great stay. Great Arcade basement level for family fun or rainy days. Private Beach a peaceful 15 min walk away! Truly, a wonderful stay at Acorn Hills and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone else thinking about staying in Grand Bend! We can't wait to come back as soon as possible!!! Mirabelli Family

Perfect family getaway spot

We had a fabulous time at Acorn Hills. The owner was wonderful to deal with and responded to any questions we had about the property and the minor issue we had. He went over and above to make sure we felt welcome. The home was clean, had items we needed and was spacious and had so many fun things to occupy yourself in the evenings as well as on the rainy day we had. It is a short walk to Lake Huron and the Grand Bend/Pinery beach there is one of our favourites. We played in the waves and swam to our hearts content. We also went to a play at the Huron County Playhouse and dinner at Dark Horse winery. A very short drive away. We will definitely be booking again for our family next year.

Great stay!

Our weekend reunion with a group of six old friends could not have been better. The accommodations were very comfortable and plenty of space to cook, dine, play and sleep. We have only good things to say about the place and location. The one thing that was not ideal was that a bunch of 60+ year old men could not figure out the tv but in fairness we really didn't spend a lot of time figuring it out because the games room was great. We are very likely going to make this an annual event and the home and location were a big part of our enjoyment.

The property was everything advertised and more.

From the kids slide and seesaw in the back to the arcade room our 7 year old daughter was in heaven! The location is close to Pinery Park with great hikes and beach access and easy drive into town. The house was spotless, well equipped and the hosts were fast to respond. Easy A+ !!

Long weekend wedding.

Our family stayed at Acorn Hills during labour day weekend. We were in the Grand Bend area to attend our nieces wedding at Widder Station on the Friday and decided to make a mini vacation of our stay. Acorn Hills was the perfect place to gather as a family. It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and had all the amenities one could ask for. The location is perfect for us. Just a short drive to Grand Bend where we slipped our boat in at the local marina. The Neighbourhood is perfect for nature hikes and not far from the lake where we enjoyed a long walk. I highly recommend Acorn Hills and we will definitely be back. Thank you Bonnie Adams

Great first cottage rental

This was our first stay at a rented cottage. It was a very positive experience for all of us. Our group consisted of 7 people ranging in age from 8 to 75. I was glad to see that the cottage contained games and other activities to keep everyone engaged. The cottage was well equipped with all the appliances and utensils that anyone would want. The cottage was clean when we arrived and all the appliances worked properly. The cottage owner was easy to contact and he responded quickly to all my communications with him. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who was worried about renting a cottage for the first time. It was a better experience than advertised.

Beautiful stay!

Our stay at Acornhills was wonderful! The cottage was beautiful and clean. Mauricio was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. On the days it rained our kids were very entertained in the basement with all the fun activities. The outside backyard was honestly beautiful for the kids and adults: great patio, hammock and fire pit! We truly did enjoy our stay.
