Holiday Apartment "Mayenburg" with Mountain View, Shared Garden and Pool

The climatic health resort Völlan (Italian: Foiana) in the Merano region is situated 650 m above sea level, surrounded by forests, orchards and vineyards and is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and mountain bikers. In autumn you are invited to a convivial Törggelen. Only 5 minutes from the centre of the village is the estate "Schlosshof" with the 40 m2 holiday flat "Mayenburg" on the ground floor with a separate entrance.



The apartment has a living room with sofa, dining area and a kitchenette with electric cooker, coffee machine and refrigerator, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet and offers space for 2 persons.



Wi-Fi, heating, a baby bed and a high chair for children are also part of the equipment.



In the communal garden there is also a pool, which is a popular attraction especially for children travelling with you.

In the spacious outdoor area with a view of the Mayenburg castle ruins you will also find a playground, a barbecue and various sun loungers, a Hollywood swing, so that every guest is guaranteed to find his or her favourite spot.



Hiking and mountain bike tours of various degrees of difficulty start practically right outside the front door. In Völlan itself there are restaurants which you can reach on foot in only a few minutes. In the next village Lana there are more restaurants, shopping facilities and numerous supermarkets, the distance is about 7-8 km (5-6 minutes by car).

And for the lovers of winter sports: the ski area Merano 2000 is only 16 km away and can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car. Other ski resorts are also only 45 minutes away by car.

Nette Wohnung auf einem Apfelhof

Schlafzimmer und Bad ( wurde leider nicht durchgehend geheizt, nur wenn im Haupthaus geheizt wurde ) sind recht geräumig. In der Küche gibt es nur ein Sofa als Sitzgelegenheit für den Abend und zum Fernsehen, was allerdings nicht in Richtung Ferseher ausgerichtet ist. Das Besteck ist ein buntes Sammelsurium. Die Lage ist für Wandertouren, auch durch die gute, kostenlose Busanbindung, günstig. Fazit: Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis der Wohnung stimmte für uns leider nicht.
