Private, unique getaway in the center of the Berkshires. We're a 3 minute walk to the Ashuwillticock rail trail. Situated on over 100 wooded acres with lots of walking trails, extraordinary trees, land forms and private seating areas and spaces to explore.

The cottage is a newly built. Super comfortable space above a stand alone 3 car garage. We have a private entry driveway and parking area exclusive to the cottage. Open floor plan with fun window seats, full kitchen and living room and full bath. It's a unique thoughtful design.

Radiant floor heat in the winter, central A.C. in the summer.

This is a beautiful property and very well maintained. The property has top notch craftsmanship throughout and is very cozy. The location is very convenient for getting to Williamstown, Lennox, Pittsfield, etc. The property is private and we loved our stay here.

Our stay was absolutely perfect for a couple. The cottage was clean and adorable. Even though it’s a convenient location and it’s near the main property, you feel very secluded. The hosts were extremely communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything was just as pictured. Thank you for the perfect stay.

The carriage house is very cute, but there was overwhelming smell of disinfectant, we tried opening a window and airing it iut hut it didnt help. the photos online of the driveway are confusing because what you see is not where guests should park. a picture of thrbguest parking would've been helpful. Also, if you plan to use the fire pit or sit outside bring your own chairs. what's there is broken and very dirty. But its a nice loaction beautiful grounds and near several sites we wanted to see.

We loved walking the many paths on the property and admiring the wonders all along the way. Stone benches throughout invited us to sit and admire one of the gorgeous features of this 50 acre natural wonderland. The owner's love of his land is obvious throughout. We were also filled with wonder at the architectural details in the carriage house cottage where we stayed for three nights. To top this all off, we were lucky enough to encounter the owner on one of our walks. He was kind, attentive and gracious, so well suited to the house and property he has clearly devoted decades to perfecting. What a find! We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful, responsive host. When we noticed the Moka Pot missing, he brought his own for us to use. It's a studio apartment with lovely window seats and enough room for two of us to do yoga at the same time. The only recommendation I have is please install a screen door so the cool outside weather can circulate and we wouldn't need air conditioning during many of our July days.

Perfect getaway spot for a couple

I chose this property partly because of its close proximity to friends in Pittsfield, and I'm so glad we stayed here. The location was private and quiet. The living space was ideal for the two of us, with many options for just hanging out and relaxing - window seats, sofa, firepit just outside the door. Although we didn't take advantage of them, you can access great hiking trails right out the back door. Communication prior to the stay was responsive and friendly. Everything worked seamlessly.

Exactly what we'd hoped for--and more!

We had a wonderful stay! We wanted a quiet spot as our 'home base' for a week of exploring the Berkshires; this was exactly what we were looking for. Spotless, cozy, and comfortable; very peaceful, yet just mins to major routes and downtown Pittsfield. Loved being able to step out the door and explore the trails; especially when several deer ran past us! Also had the pleasure of meeting Lasko--a very good boy ;-) We're already checking our calendars to plan a return trip...

Not Private At All

We booked hoping for a quiet weekend in a private house. We ended up seeing the owners around the yard every day as we were not in a private house but an apartment above the garage. It was a nice little apartment though. We really liked it. But on our second night, they were playing loud music and using loud power tools in the garage untill late in the night. We had to call the owners at about 10:30pm and ask for quiet. They eventually turned off the music and left the garage. Other than not being quiet or private, the place was lovely.

Anniversary

Celebrate 34 anniversary great place. Better than a hotel. Love the place would stay again. Couldn’t figure out how to use Apple TV to watch Netflix. Just need a couple steak knives if you do take out or cook in. Had a great time. Thanks Ed

Quaint Carriage House

This beautiful carriage house is ingeniously designed with no wasted space. Surrounded by nature, it is totally private, yet it is two minutes from shops and restaurants. The window seats are sublime and the heated floors offered relief after afternoons spent hiking in the cold.

Wonderful stay. Nice facility

Great experience....very clean facility in excellent condition......except for driveway & sidewalk. Sheet of ice....yes there were unusual conditions this winter, but I would be concerned for any elderly or uncoordinated guests.
