A well needed stay after a long ferry and before my flight. Helpful friendly staff. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Kettle/coffee/shampoo an extra bonus. In a quiet area I didnât hear anything all night. Recommend 100%
Lots of bugs on the entry grounds. Loose pavers made it difficult to maneuver my luggage from the end of the street to the lobby. No refrigerator meant nothing cold to drink available. The room itself was clean and quiet. No Netflix but some local channels were available on the TV. The public shared bathroom was just outside my room. There is one mini grocery store at the end of the street. Their uber version called "Grab" is available in this location and it is near the airport. This is an old neighborhood so outside activity is limited. The smoke detector was chirping all night due to a weak battery. Since this is a family run business I didn't want to wake them to inform them about the battery replacement needed. But I did inform the manager in the morning before leaving. It was very affordable for a reason.
The room is small with no bathroom or window. The area is below street level and may be subject to flooding. There is no window and may be a fire trap.
This is quaint little boutique motel not far from Cebu airport and about half an hours drive from the port in traffic. It is a bit off the beaten path, so make sure your driver has access to Goggle maps. The website provides a fairly thorough description of the directions to get there and what landmarks are nearby.
The Norwegian expat owner, JJ, couldn't be kinder and the rooms are nice gor a budget price. The rooms have a hot water carafe and free coffee and tea. Limited snacks are available to purchase. Street food is available outside and a mall is nearby. The rooms have individual AC units. My only criticisms would be a weak to nonexistent Wifi and TV signal in the back rooms, exterior bathrooms in the hallway with no hot water (but it is at least tepid), and a 10 p.m. curfew before lockdown(!?). Nevertheless, I would highly recommend the Liytle Norway Inn for the budget minded nomad.
My second stay here. Very clean and accommodating staff. Arrived early and they made sure the room was available for early check in. I will definitely stay here again on future visits. Very close to the airport.
