In the same square are the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Baptistery, behind which is a picturesque little marketplace. To Lucca with its imposing city walls, beautiful churches and squares, such as the famous Amphitheater Square, it is 40 km. Lucca also hosts two events of great importance every year, the Lucca Summer Festival with concerts by internationally known singers and the Lucca Comics, a must for fantasy fans. The beautiful city of Pisa with the picturesque Piazza dei Miracoli with the Duomo, the Baptistery and the world famous Leaning Tower is about 55 km away.
