The staff was very congenial. It's room was clean but the tub needed to be recaulked and the roller had some strange stain on it, I think it should be remodeled soon. Overall the stay was pleasant.

The staff upon arriving did their job. Basically, the cleaning staff didn't seem trained to give attention to details. For example, the furniture in our room had not been dusted in a while. There was a spill in the elevator that was not attended to within 24 hours. Carpets could use a deep cleaning or replacement.

Long term observation.

Let me start out by saying, I love this hotel. I’ve been staying here for years, every time I travel from California to Texas. But, this place is in need of a serious makeover .!! The place is starting to look run down. I have had rooms in all areas of the hotel, and here is what I have experienced. The carpets in the rooms are just gross. The bathrooms fixtures are not always working. The AC units are loud and on several of them the front cover was hanging off. Some of the light fixtures had bare wires exposed on the plug. The walls had repair patches that looked like a kid pasted it on the wall. The ice maker on the first floor has been broken for over 3 years, that I noticed.!! I know La Quinta can do better than this.. I have stayed in other La Quinta’s that rate up there with high end Hilton hotels.. I will keep staying here, but let’s show a little pride..!! Let’s fix it up.. Thank you

The Black Hole of Hotel Stays

The primary purpose of hotels is to provide a comfortable environment for rest and sleep, sleep being the must important of all so that you can wake up the next morning relaxed and refreshed. Unfortunately in this case I got little if any of that. The bed felt like I was being relentlessly sucked u by an enormous Black Hole. The noisy room air conditioner which had a very off putting foul smell could not be turned off, as if its sole purpose was to continuously flood the room with stale and unhealthy air. The noisy fan in the bathroom was just as bad and could not be turned off without also turning off the bathroom light from a single switch. Wouldn’t stay here if they paid me. Enough said. Don’t even think I of staying here unless you like trying to sleep in a spinning black hole.

A great place to rest easy

The beds alone would bring me back, they were so comfortable, I want one in my own home! Check in was easy, room preference was accommodated, make-up remover towelette was provided, Dove products for the shower was appreciated, the room was fresh and smelled clean. The elevator even has a pretty color and was in super condition, very responsive. Staff was nice. Room as an iron, hair dryer, and a fan in the bathroom (as all hotel bathrooms should)! The only thing was there was no option to pay at the hotel so I had to in advance, but otherwise, it was right next to a Walmart and a bunch of other stuff right in Las Cruces. This property is privately owned, if that bothers.

Very sweet people. The whole motel smelled of curry in the morning, that made me smile and there was a donut to share for us for breakfast. The wifi dropped in and out even though we re-logged as told be the manager. The train goes right by and toots very loudly. Everything is somewhat worn down, but it was a good bed.

New gas station going in next door- almost done, but disrupted traffic flow and entrance to hotel. We had a trailer and had to turn around in shopping center lot inorder to enter hotal parking. Staff was very friendly Room clean and comfortable
