Title: Perfect Stay in Las Terrenas – Truly Feels Like Home! 🌮 From the moment we arrived, Ellie proved to be an exceptional host—warm, attentive, and always making sure everything was perfect. I also have to mention Iris and Joel, a wonderful couple who went above and beyond to help us navigate anything we needed. The home itself is absolutely perfect: spotless, beautifully maintained, and in the best location—close to the beach a 5 minutes walk, great restaurants, and all the charm including the perfect sunrise & sunset!!the surfing school is fantastic, our girls did some lessons! Las Terrenas has to offer. One of our favorite spots was Mosquito, a lively place with salsa nights, a social club atmosphere, entertainment for all ages, and plenty of fun for kids and families. The food there is fantastic, and using the Comida app made discovering delicious meals so easy. Beyond the property and amenities, what made this trip special were the amazing people we met here—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to share a smile or a story. This is the kind of place where you can relax, recharge, and feel truly at home. I highly, highly recommend this home for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Las Terrenas. I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Getaway Location

We had an amazing stay at Calypso!! The unit itself is beautiful with an open concept main living space that opens up wide so you can enjoy the heat and views. Balcony wraps around the corner unit and is lovely for hanging out - even in the rain it is completely sheltered. The pool is amazing, cleaned daily and refreshing and we swam daily with our 6-year-old daughter no problem. The location is a 5 minute walk from the ocean and has fantastic restaurants and a Surfing School! I was definitely able to hang ten. Only downside was the location is far away from any stores or markets so you have to order everything and can’t really go walking to a store or grocery centre. But you get this app called Komida and they deliver anything fast and affordable on motorbikes and all the delivery folk were super friendly. Amazing vacation destination we stayed for 10 days and loved it. Highly recommend!

Little piece of paradise

My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary / honeymoon and it was amazing. 5 minute walk to an amazing beach with loads of resteraunts and things to do. There wasnt a day we didnt spend in the ocean soaking up the sun. Although we stayed pretty near the unit there are many excursions you can do around the area. We really enjoyed the resteraunt El Mosquito and ate there twice in the week we stayed. If you enjoy surfing the waves are also beautiful and there is a surf school that is only a 7 minute walk away. The unit itself was awesome to stay in with everything you need, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and beautiful surroundings. Waking up next to a mango tree and palms was so calming in the mornings. On a final note be sure to order yourself groceries and snacks when you arrive and bring a good ammount of Domincan Pesos as the food delivery service uses cash only. I recommend $400-700CAD worth depending on how much you want to do while there. All in all, it was a seamless, fabulous stay well worth the investment and something my wife and I will cherish for years to come.
