Very nice clean rooms that was courteous. A hotel was a good stay at all. They know one thing I do recommend is that we be a little bit more forthcoming. That resort fees and hotel fees do not or are not refundable. And they are not the 150 deposit. That is refundable, so the hotel might cost you 80 bucks a night for 3 nights, but on top of a $150 for result. On top of a $150 entertainment fees and a $150.Deposit is the only thing you get all in all would pay.The same would do the same and would stay again Resort fees.

Nice rooms, great view of Fremont area from bedroom window. Friendly staff. Pity housekeeping smashed my perfume & tried to hide it. If not for that, it would’ve been a 5 star. Really liked the hotel. Will definitely stay again. But will hide all my priced possessions next time!

I have been a loyal guest of the El Cortez for many years and have always appreciated the fact that it is a 21+ property with consistently clean and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, my most recent stay did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect. Upon arrival, I found the room to be unclean. The bathroom had visible mildew and mold beneath the sink, and the elevators were in unacceptable condition, with noticeable stains, urine, and even vomit on the floors and walls. This was extremely disappointing and uncharacteristic of the El Cortez I know and have enjoyed. Additionally, I was informed that the odds of winning a bonus on the slot machines are quite low, which was discouraging. The Cabana Suites, where I stayed, are in need of a modest refresh — not a full renovation, but some fresh paint and new linens would make a significant difference. My sheets even had holes in them, which further detracted from the experience. I want to emphasize that I have always loved this property and have had many positive experiences in the past. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and restores the level of quality and care that has always made the El Cortez such a special place to stay.
