My room was not clean properly. I didn’t fuss just asked to have someone help out. A supervisor came and still didn’t make sure the sheets were clean. Engineering “fixed” the tub but it wasn’t so I had to move rooms. Took 2 hours for all this process so inconvenient and the new room had the same problem. Took photos of everything. FD no help

We stayed in a room that we have stayed in before, the lock did not lock, the outlet in the bathroom kept needing to be reset, the TV only has maybe 10 channels. We had machines not print tickets and we had machines that took tickets and didn’t credit the money but security was absolutely amazing and helpful. The only problem is I had to wait 48 hours to see if audit could make sure that the machine did not pay me out my ticket and now I have to go back for $50 which it will cost me way more than that in gas. They will not mail the check.

OK, we were only looking for a place to sleep. However, every ice machine on the property was not working. This is the desert and that is totally unacceptable. Oh, they offered one small quart size bag of ice. That might fill two glasses for a beverage if it didn’t melt by the time you got to your room. Oh, and if there were actually glasses in the room, even plastic which there were not. Then there wasn’t any hot water and I did hear other guests extremely complaining. We wanted to take a shower as soon as we got to the hotel as again, this is the desert. I asked the front desk about it and was told because we’re on a higher floor it takes longer. I understand that but totally ridiculous because some people don’t get that and letting the water run for 10 to 15 minutes before it gets warm is wasting so much water! Next: there is no place to eat a meal, an actual meal. Ever since they took down one of the most popular restaurants in Laughlin, it’s been going downhill. Another thing: there is no machine to cash in your ticket from the slots. Again, ridiculous that we have to stand in line at a bar, waiting for a bartender who is busy with bar guests, behind several other people trying to cash in their tickets as well. What is up with that? My opinion is that this place is slowly going under and saving every penny they can. With this kind of hospitality, it will be sooner rather than later I’m sure.

The beds were dirty ! The widows need to be cleaned lights are dim every thing needs a upgrade ! 2 air filters left out of the unit and we’re in the closet. There’s no blow dryer in the room. The AC was humid and was not cold for hot summers. The pool is broken no longer in use. The icemakers were broken in 110°. The only thing good about staying at the River Lodge is that you can walk straight down to the river

Most hotels in Laughlin are run down, and this one was especially disappointing. The room was dingy and lacked basic amenities—no ice, no coffee, and no refrigerator. The door lock was unreliable, and hot water took a very long time to reach even lukewarm. To make matters worse, there will be no pool in 2026. Important details like the pool closure are buried in the description when booking through third‑party sites such as Hotels.com, which is frustrating. Thankfully, I was only there for one night. I won’t be returning.

It was a clean room, but outdated. I thought it would be more updated, since they stated they recently renovated the rooms. Be aware that the doors slam shut if you do not gently close them. That means we could hear everybody's door slamming shut. It was affordable. I was aware how far the parking lot was from the hotel, but some may not know that. I was disappointed all the previously unloading/loading areas are now parking areas. It makes it hard to load/unload your bags with everybody parking near the door closest to check-in. Check-in took longer than other hotels. Employees were super nice though!

In regards to a casino it was all right, several different options available and the players card worked at all once obtained. No table games. The video poker is a bit different but once you get use to it it’s fine. Very smoky on the floor.

We had a great stay at River Lodge Laughlin. We were a little disappointed that the pool was out of order during our visit, especially with our 2 and 4 year olds, but overall we still had a really good experience. The room was very clean, the view was beautiful, and we appreciated how kid friendly the property felt for our family. The staff was kind, and the location made it easy to enjoy Laughlin with little ones. We’d definitely consider staying again!
