Historic Hilltop Guesthouse - Charming studio/cottage one block from downtown

This adorable studio was remodeled summer, 2024 so everything is brand new and has everything any one would need. It is located one block from the Museum of Art as well as downtown so no need to get in your car. Our guesthouse sits right behind our main house which is on the beautiful historic 6th Ave. one block from town. You can park behind our house and beside the guesthouse.

Our studio/guesthouse has a king size bed so you will sleep well after exploring Laurel all day. The blackout curtains will keep out the light so you can sleep late if you'd like.

There's a little kitchennette with microwave, refrigerator, sink, and Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy a slow start to your day sipping a cup of coffee with the coffee pods that we provide.

Relax with a hot shower or bath at the end of your fun day in Laurel since the bathroom has a full size tub with a shower. No need to bring soap, etc. as shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel is here for your convenience. We installed a magnifying mirror to help with putting on makeup. A hair blower is also provided.

There's plenty of space to put your clothes in the wardrobe and dresser so you don't feel like you're living out of a suitcase.

If you feel like taking some time off from shopping and need a little down time, relax on our love sofa that reclines. Raise your legs while you watch TV on the new smart TV or enjoy reading a good book. We offer free wifi so you have access to the internet. You'll feel rejuvenated after a rest in our quiet neighborhood.

Come and explore our amazing home town and have fun staying at the Hilltop Guesthouse in historic Laurel. We'll do everything we can to help you have a wonderful experience.

Lovely little guest cottage that was conveniently located to historic downtown Laurel. We even discovered that one of our favorite home renovations on Home Town was right across the street! The owner was extremely helpful and even baked us cookies. Would stay there again if we come back to Laurel.

Beverly and Don were out standing hosts. They met us upon arrival and quickly responded to our requests. They made us feel part of their family. Also their recommendations were spot on regarding where to eat shop and explore. When we come back to Laurel we'll only stay in their cute quiet and clean Hilltop Guest House.

We had the most wonderful experience in Laurel. The Hilltop Cottage was perfect for a dear friend and I to have a Ladies getaway. It was her Birthday celebration! We loved staying near downtown and Beverly was a wonderful host! She also bakes the best chocolate chip cookies and has so many great recommendations!

Girls Trip!!

Perfect property for 2 people. This property is a short walk to town and located in the historic district. Sweet host and met us with a plate of cookies. Cute cottage, very clean, comfortable mattress
which is important after a long day of walking! The first day we walked into town and visited shops and restaurants. The second day we took a tour and went to places outside of downtown. Hilltop Guesthouse is the perfect location for your stay in Laurel. You won’t be disappointed and we plan on going back for Christmas, as we were told the homes are all decorated beautifully.

The Best Little Getaway

Beverly was very accommodating and welcoming. Everything was as it was described online. The bed was sooo comfortable, I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. This was a personal getaway for peace and mental health and this place was perfect! I can’t recommend it enough!

This little cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay in Laurel. We were close to everything we wanted to do. We found lots of good food and shops to visit! I highly recommend this cozy cottage for it's great location and environment!

Bev was fantastic to deal with prior to our arrival and even after! The guest house was just what we needed for our one-night stay in Laurel. We sat in the yard after supper, and Bev brought us a plate of cookies while we chatted with her husband, Don. I almost wish we had more time to spend here in Laurel! I'm positive we will look to Bev's property on any future visits.

Laurel MS Vacation

Cute, clean convenient property had comfy beds, everything we needed and a hostess that was the VERY BEST!!! Laurel is much bigger than I imagined but a varied friendly community. We will head there again.
