Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 350 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 350 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen" 350 m, outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 400 m, children's playground 200 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

The apartment has a magnificent view of the valley and is an easy walk into town and to the station. The apartment is comfortable, BUT, it is crazy that there is no microwave in a vacation rental. Also, I believe there is a washing machine in the complex which is not accessible for guest use. Although these things were not listed on the facilities it would GREATLY enhance a stay here if they were included. The Interhome staff where we collected the key were not very helpful at all. They told us the ONLY access to the apartment was via two flights of stairs which is in fact totally incorrect. We had huge suitcases and fortunately had the wherewithall to find a flatter entry point.

A very nice apartment for a week in Wengen

The apartment is very nice with a great view out over the valley towards lauterbrunnen. It’s a 5 minute walk slightly uphill from the town centre. The apartment is well appointed with everything we needed to self cater evening meals and breakfasts for the week. Our only suggestion is to have two single beds in the second bedroom rather than as it is now with a double bed in each bedroom. We have two teenage kids so one was on the sofa bed That aside we enjoyed our stay very much.
