Christmas On a Hill

Beautiful home with lovely views, made especially fun at night with holiday lights about and scattered fireworks. Kitchen well equipped for cooking and baking holiday treats. Many options for eating out as well. We enjoyed some local food as well as nearby hiking. Great location for our visit with family in both Georgetown and Killeen.

Great View-- Great time

House was amazing. View is awesome, house is everything it is advertised to be -- a rarity among rentals. Spent almost the entire weekend on the deck which is the best part of the house. Property and grounds are kept in immaculate condition. The only reason I rated communication with the property manager a 5 is because there wasn't a 6! Hilda was great and with us every step of the way. She checked on us after a stormy night and wanted to make sure our stay was memorable, which it certainly was. We will for sure be back.

 First and foremost, the impression of this trip to Jonestown (Austin) was truly a tragedy-disaster in the entire time of our vacation. Despite the awesome view and our preparation to spend a pleasant time there, it has given us a most ridiculous experience over there.The bedroom beds were extremely smelly and dirty. We even found a lady's hair rubber band underneath a pillow!!! None of us could sleep well at night. The upstairs' balcony door did not have an appropriate door gasket, and the door kept opening with a little wind and one time it opened and hit one of the residents' thumbs and caused a fraction.The outside furniture was torn and damaged. The wooden stairs were rotted and a step was broken and it was extremely dangerous, especially for toddlers/kids. In regard to, some photos have been attached here.

Great retreat location!

Four old friends from high school had a great long weekend visit at this beautiful property. Fabulous home, expansive views and privacy, yet lots of food and amenities close by. We've already contemplated a return trip. Super responsive and accommodating management.

Nice but definitely not worth the rental rate.

View is ok but not mentioned is the traffic noise from a major farm to market road. The master bed mattress is shot. The master bath ceiling fan is very grimy and oddly all the soap dispensers save one were filled with dish soap. There is no grill which was ok with us but then there was only 1 oven mitt. Oh and bring your own Kleenex. Got to say I won’t be returning.

It’s a beautiful home needs some improvement

This is a beautiful home the views are amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Our only issue was the two downstairs bedrooms we had 2 small lizards that got in shoes and suitcases. We had to get on the floor to get them ou and noticed underneath the beds were dead bugs and debris.. Behind the headboard was cobwebs and and dead spiders. It was cold in the house and we had to request the It warmed up quickly after that. Loved the views !

This house was the perfect home away from home getaway we needed to celebrate our annual Friendsgiving. The home is gorgeous and spacious enough for everyone to have their area to relax in. The patio views overlooking the natural landscape is simply stunning! I hope to return soon.

Perfect vacation Home

Had a great time at this property. In a perfect hillside location and not far from cedar park and restaurants. Very close to several parks and trails near lake. Home had everything for two families and kids. Spent memorable time and view is stunning from front porch.
