Beautiful home

Beautiful home, great view, comfortable beds. Appreciated that the steep part of the driveway was clear of ice, as well as the well stocked wood holder (don’t know if Vacasa stocks the wood or previous renter). Which gets me to my frustration that no info was given as to what would be provided. Overall, the lack of information started at the entry as I had never used that kind of electronic lock so a note next to the door would have been helpful. As others have mentioned the light controls were unlabeled so never found lights over the hot tub and also needed flash light to see the very small buttons to turn on the kitchen lights in the morning darkness. Overall, we had a great time, loved the house and hope that you will also. D

B-Day Getaway

The lodge is amazing! With that said there were some disappointments. Previous reviews complained about the light switches and broken shower heads. The light switches were still not labeled. Normally I could care less but the switches made no sense and the ceiling fan in the main gathering room never turned on.As for the shower heads still not replaced. The master bathroom has no power to the plug-ins. I made a call and texted VACASA. I was told someone would respond but they did not. The wife had to use another bathroom that other guests were using. The kitchen.... Plates and bowls were chipped and there were no aluminum foil or plastic wrap (would have been a nice add). All of this is small complaints that are easily fixed. Would I stay there again. YES! The overall supercedes my complaints.

Golf Trip

A group of 6 stayed for our annual golf trip. We had a most wonderful time. Views and house were beautiful, easy location to get to and from our golf locations. We referred to the master bathroom as the spa and loved the western decor. While we loved everything about our stay, we understand that there is a lot of turn over in your home and there is wear and tear. The ice maker and lower oven should be checked. Neither of these had any negative impact on our stay.

New Years weekend getaway

This lodge is beautifully situated with views of the surrounding valley and mountains. Accessing cross country skiing and/or snowshoeing is a simple walk down the hill from the lodge. The fireplace is amazing and is the centerpiece to an open living/family room with beautiful windows looking over the snow covered mountains and golf course.

Overall the property was great and spacious. The front door could use a lock so you can actually lock it from the inside especially when you have a toddler. Also could use more garbage cans outside especially when big groups come. The downstairs could use curtains especially since it is bing used as a room for kids, the sun comes up on that side and woke my kids up every morning. There could be better instructions for the use of the lights and how to lock the back doors especially if you have never stayed here it was a little confusing and took us awhile. But overall it was a great house, very spacious and homey. We will most definitely stay here again.

The front door deadbolt would not engage. Numerous attempts to reach someone. Just kept getting limited staff to respond messages. We had a1 year old who could open both the front door and the side door to the hot tub. Also, the only place to sit outside is the deck and the hitter was literally hanging as off a tree had hit it, so we couldn't sit outside at all. Much debris and unsafe. Enjoyed the hot tub the showers were nice as well.

Great but really beat up house.

The house itself had great “bones” but just about every room had things that were either beat up, out of date, not working or even dangerous. To top it all it off my cell phone was probably 3 times as fast and reliable than their internet connection. It was the middle of winter but we still expected to be able to go out onto the decks and enjoy the views you see in the listing. All decks were marked as closed and dangerous with 4+ feet of snow and broken furniture left unattended to. In the kitchen, the dishwasher was broken, dishes were chipped and to say it was barely stocked is an understatement. Not even salt or pepper were provided. The showers and baths were filled with corroded and moldy grout. The only shower/bath on the upper floor had a dingy decorative cloth curtain but nothing plastic to keep water from soaking the mats and floor outside. One toilet handle would stick and not refill the tank, another had no toilet paper roll/holder. The downstairs playroom had an Xbox but no way to watch TV. It was also a room that was coated in dog hair and the couch had Last but not least, the hot water was hot instantly which would normally be great but it was scalding and with a dedicated hot water handle on most sinks it meant you had to be super careful to prevent serious burns After we sent a number of these complaints to property manager Vacasa, they made one attempt to call and find out more and from there never returned our calls or texts after that to resolve these issues. They were quick to communicate over text but no action was taken other than a 10% credit after checkout.

Check in was smooth. Property was Beautiful. Plenty of space for our group. Difficulty with operating the lights. A help guide for lights etc should be available at the property. One of our must haves was the hot tub. Although the temp was great, most of the jets didn't work. That was a big disappointment. All in all we had a great time! If the above things could be addressed, our stay would have been fantastic. Thanks

Beautiful views, Poor cleanliness

Cabin overall had great winter vibes and the views when you enter the house are more beautiful than advertised. Plenty of space for 6 adult and 3 kids. However overall the house was not cleaned well at all. Dirt and food just brushed aside under cabinets and filthy rugs. The pots and pans were so scratched and old it felt like we would get cancer immediately from them. Bathrooms well stocked and plenty of towels but no dishwasher detergent or paper towels. 30 min from town but a couple ok dining options within 10 minutes. Overall great stay but would not come back due to the dirty state of house on arrival and lack of basic goods like dishwasher detergent.
